Hi to everyone
My name is Josephato Chibata Chibai I lead a registred non profit organization, we legally operate in the communities of Mumias East sub county in Kakamega county Kenya. Our main focus is reducing poverty and suffering through the following projects:
1. Educate Inform We Empower whereby we teach for free both Computer & Internet skills to youth both in and out of schools for we believe for one to succeed fully in life must be computer literate and also be able to use the vast information that is found online both for community and personal development.
2. Jigger eradication we find that many believe that those infested by jiggers are either cursed or bewitched ,we treat those infested with jiggers and fight the stigma associated with those infested with jiggers so that the school going can still go back to school and chart their own future.NB if you have not seen Jiggers kindly go through some of our program photos and let me hope the photos won't frighten you.
3. Fighting gender based violence GBV here the girl child is the most vulnerable,we advocate for her equal schooling opportunity in a safe environment and we believe given a chance she excels in life.
4.Environment conservation we believe that if we do not plant environmentally friendly trees so to increase the world forest cover ,we are killing the future generations.
We warmly welcome you to our organization to come and help, be an agent of change that we desperately cry for in our communities. It does not matter your background be it medical, fundraising, community empowerment and social skills, teaching, photography, videography, basic computer & internet skills teaching or any other valuable skill is highly welcomed
