  Description

  Hi there! My name is Jakob, I'm 26 years old, and I'm from South Tyrol. In late 2021, I purchased an abandoned 4 hektar orchard with mainly Orange and Kaki Trees in Sennori North Sardinia and have been working hard to improve the agricultural aspects and infrastructure of the property. My ultimate goal is to create an agriturismo, but there is still a lot to do, and I could use some help around the house.
  
  The property is not engaged in any commercial agricultural activities or the production of goods for sale. The fruit trees, such as oranges and Kaki, were heavily pruned last year and will not be in production for the next three years.
  as a Workaway host, I'm looking for people who can work approximately 4-5 hours a day, doing tasks such as basic landscaping around the private Farm House, gardening for our own kitchen, helping with basic house renovations, and cooking. I welcome people from all cultures to join me in this adventure.
  
  In exchange for your help, I offer three healthy meals a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. And offcourse accommodation. Additionaly I provide Snacks while working, and after work,I make the best Aperol Spritz for evryone to enjoy. You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the beautiful landscape of Sardinia, learn about organic farming, and participate in the creation of a sustainable and authentic experience.

  Over the past year, I've been fortunate to have many opportunities to interact with local people who have been incredibly welcoming and open to cultural exchange. My neighbors are experienced orchard farmers, vine makers, olive oil producers, and more, and I've been able to learn a great deal about local culture and agriculture. I'm eager to share this experience with workaway participants, and offer the chance to learn about local farming practices, cooking, and other cultural aspects.

  Accommodation

  there are several accommodation options available to you. You can bring your own tent and camp in a scenic spot near the house, park your camper van on-site and stay in your own vehicle, or depending on availability, you may have the option to stay in a newly built yurt with stunning views. Additionally if you dont have your won tent or vehicle, I can also provide a caravan for accommodation for up to three Persons.
  Let me know which option you prefer, and I'll do my best to make it happen.

  What else ...

  There is a 22 km long sand beach only 7 km away from the farm. Additionally, the area and surrounding region offer many rock climbing spots, as well as beautiful trails for bicycling and mountain biking. Depending on the season also good surf conditions on the coast. The towns of Sennori, Sorso, Sassari, and Castelsardo are all nearby. Public transport is located 2 km away from the farm, but I can provide a bicycle or occasionally a car if you're a safe driver.
