Hi there,
We are glad you take the time to read what we have to tell. We? Well, that's Tim, Beau and our flock of furry friends. We have cats and dogs, chooks and frogs, and wild deer and foxes live in the woods surrounding our cottage.
Born and raised in Belgium, we decided to move to the French countryside three years ago. We got sick of the hectic rat race and decided to take it a bit slower over here. But surprisingly, the slower you tend to take things, the more chores seem to pop up. That's why we are looking for some helping hands with running a small wellness gîte, and starting new locations.
Beau is a travel agent who works from home most of the time, but also travels a lot. She is an artist, a ceramicist and a yoga teacher who loves cooking for people, but also needs her space and alone time.
Tim is always busy building something and loves to help out people when necessary. He is happiest at home and loves the good weather as he needs to be outside.Types of help and learning opportunities

So, what's in it for you? France is the most visited country in the world, and once you’ve been here, you get why. Believe us, the region where we live is beautiful and authentically untouched. If you love nature, you can get lost in the old forests, wander the land of a thousand ponds or loose yourself in the beautiful rivers and lakes. But if you have a sweet tooth for romantic and dreamy little villages, you will be spoiled as well. Look up Montmorillon, Chauvigny, Saint Savin, or Angles sur l’Anglin for example.
Beau is an amazing cook. She doesn't really eat meat, but Tim does know how to grill a good steak if you would fancy one from time to time. Or he will prepare you the craziest pizzas on the pizza oven we built next to the natural swimming pool.Help
One person would be helping out with daily tasks like cleaning, household chores, gardening, walking the dogs, collecting wood, and rearranging the garden. Ideally, this person loves gardening, or wishes to develop this love.
Another person ideally has experience with or love for renovations and ecological building journeys (isolating, painting, electricity, plumbing...), building, gardening, collecting wood, starting fires... Tim has been renovating for most of his life now, and is always willing to learn and share.Languages spoken

You will have a transformed old French campervan, a wooden cabin and (if you want) a written off military tent at your disposal, along with hundreds of square meters of private garden (think loads of green and free fruit, vegetables and herbs). Your spot will be provided with electricity, a basic kitchen and a dry toilet so you can have your own space. If you want to take a shower, you are more than welcome to have it in our bathroom up in the house. If the tiny house is not rented out, you are more than welcome to light the woodstove hottub or sauna for yourself.
What else ...
As there are often people staying over in the B&B, we ask to be respectful towards them and their privacy. Keep it quiet when they are around.
If we find the time, we can sometimes share a meal together.A little more information
