Hello Workawayers! This is the PERFECT TIME for you to come to Palestine. We are the proud owners of two successful hostels in the West Bank, attracting guests from all over the world for our relaxed social atmosphere. We are the number #1 rated hostel in Ramallah on From the rooms and outdoor areas you can see the sun set each night over our beautiful city, with an uninterrupted view of the Mosque.

The hostel is in an ideal location right in the city center close to the Old City, Al-Manarah Square, and the bus terminal to travel to Jerusalem or other Palestinian Cities.

Our volunteer work hours are flexible! We want you to be a part of the hostel environment which may be in shifts during busy periods, but we also give you enough time to explore the city or participate in our activities.

In addition to enjoying our gorgeous home, volunteers are also welcome to join our tours that take guests all over the West Bank including Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, and the Dead Sea. We have a big new hostel opening up in Bethlehem too, and you are welcome to stay there for free as you like. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the nightly hostel activities, such as movie nights and beer pong tournaments, and suggest even more social events!

This is a great opportunity to experience Palestinian culture and explore the West Bank. Teeming with history, politics, and culture, Ramallah is a perfect place to get a taste of the local culture. From the fruit and vegetable markets to the bars and restaurants in the Old City, volunteering in Ramallah will never get boring.
For some volunteers this could be their first time visiting an Arabic country or a country under occupation. We are of course more than happy to share our knowledge with you, teach you Arabic, and keep you updated on the current political situation.

  • Help

We want to make a ‘family’ of volunteers. People who are social and not afraid to befriend guests and make them feel welcome. We do not view our volunteers as ‘workers’, you will not be working long tiresome hours. You will be helping the paid local staff with cleaning in the morning when guests check out, and helping with check ins. The work hours are flexible, and you will have plenty of time to explore the city!
