    Description

We are a family of four people and a dog living in South West of Finland in a small village called Suomusjärvi. Bigger cities Salo and Lohja are within 30 minutes drive distance.
Our house is an old congregation house next to a beautiful old church. We bought the house 2020 and since then we have been renowating it into a residency space for artists. For the artists and workaway helpers there is a free-to-use 70m2 sized rehearsal space with beautiful big windows and a spacious apartment with own doorway downstairs.
As hosts we are two artists and pedagogues working on the field of circus and theater arts. Our two sons are aged 4 and 11 years. We own a dog called Susu. She is 8 year old husky and very friendly and peaceful.
Nearby our house there are three lakes to swim in and a public wood-heated sauna. Though we basically live in the middle of forests, there is a 1-hour bus connection to Helsinki and Turku quite close to us.

Also there's a chance to practice your own art and take a space for that.
