  Description

  We are a family of 4, including 2 children of 1 and 4 years old. Languages spoken daily at home are Lithuanian, English and French. Our project is our children’s education: we are very interested in neuroscience, psychology, alternative education, arts, music. We are looking for a young (under 30 years old) person who has deep interest in children education to bring new ideas and help us educate the children. We do not need or want a nanny or fille au pair. We live 30 minutes away from Geneva by train.

  We are a very international family, having lived in over 10 countries as individuals, and speaking fluently English, Spanish, Chinese, Lithuanian, Russian and French. We live in a village about 30 minutes train ride to the mountains on one side, and 30 minutes train ride to Geneva or Lausanne. Madame is a neuroscience specialist in permanent quest of self realization and Monsieur is a keen language learner, sailor and skier. As a couple we have also lived and travelled during 2 years on a sailing boat, crossing the Atlantic.

  Help

  We would expect full participation in the life of our children, teaching them languages (English as a priority) and self confidence, self awareness through art, music, play, gardening, reading, exchanging.

  He grew up speaking 3 languages and learnt Chinese at university. She grew up speaking 2 languages and learnt 2 more just living life. At home we speak 3 languages: French, English and Lithuanian.

  Accommodation

  We are moving from a flat (private bedroom only) to a house (Private bedroom and private bathroom) during Spring 2023. Only meals we take together are week-end breakfasts and lunches. There is no rule in the kitchen and who cooks, and what type of food. In general we avoid eating too much meat.

  What else ...

  We live 200 meters away from a tiny train station, 10 minutes to Nyon and lake of Geneva, 30 minutes to St Cergue/Jura mountains (skiing, trekking), and 30 minutes to Geneva or Lausanne.
