Description
We are living at an old farm used as a living-community with 11 people from 1 to 44 years. We are searching for some new people. I think there is space for 2 more. We also have 4 rabbits outside in the garden.
The last 6 years we spent to do a lot of repair on the old buildings. We still want to improve many things although our community is well liveable. We have some common areas, like a large kitchen, lounges and a playground.
We are interested in food saving, vegan lifestyle, environmental friendly, gardening, etc.
We try to selfmade nearly all repairs and maintenance, on cars and bikes, buildings and technical equipement.
We like to cook and eat together, go swimming at the lake and make campfires. In winter we enjoy playing boardgames, drinking a glass of wine or beer and watching movies or sitting in front of the stove and talking to each other.
Our farm is in a small village next to Bremen.
We like to have some more persons with us. We like to have people around for some days, weeks or longer. There is also space for people who want to live with us the "normal" renting way.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
For 2024 we are looking for people for different tasks or focuses.
Since some of us are starting a new job, we would need help with household chores. So we are happy to have someone who likes to tidy up, clean and cook and can therefore make everyday life easier for us. Possible tasks include cleaning the kitchen, loading and unloading the dishwasher, keeping our community room clean, doing laundry, and going grocery shopping.
We are also looking for someone for spring who would like to take on a few tasks in the garden, such as creating and planting beds, pulling weeds, etc.
For July we are urgently looking for a few more people who want to help us with the insulation and renovation of our community building. We want to completely clear out the room, insulate and paint walls and ceilings and restructure the building with different zones such as creative area, sports area and TV corner.
Of course, there is always something to do all year. Arne and Sergio (a workawayer from Brazil) actually work on some construction or gardening project every day (Monday to Friday). They can always use help too.
We are particularly looking for people who want to be in community. No prior knowledge is necessary.Languages spoken

There is also a big kitchen where we like to cook and eat together.
We have a big communityroom with many boardgames, a projector and some dvds, music, instruments, books etc.
In our garden there are many nice places, the terrasse with places to sit and talk, a trampoline, a playground with some swings and slides, quite places to lie down and read a book. There is also a hammock in the garden. What else ...
The next supermarket is 4 km to drive. Also there is a small city with restaurants, ice cream parlors, cinema and bars. The next big city is Bremen, you can go there by train in 30 minutes. There is a campside in the neighbourhood with a restaurant, an ice cream parlor and a lake for swimming. The north sea is 70 minutes by car.

Claudia is a nice person and we wish her all the best and many more wonderful trips and experiences.
He is a very calm and relaxed guy. He sticks to the agreements and does his job as best as he can.

He did his job very well, was really hard-working.
We had a good time with him.
Tom is the nicest guy ever. He enjoyed playing with the kids and they really miss him now.
