Details
 - Description- I'm Neil. From Liverpool in UK, but a Turkish national also: consultant to NGOs and relief & humanitarian projects, vegan (and can cook).
In April I'll be preparing the upper floors of my house for rental. There isn't a lot to be done - some stuff to move to the ground floor, maybe some light DIY / painting, some deep cleaning, maybe some painting, generally making it attractive. I expect to be there mid-April, for around a week.
It's a vegan house - that means I'll cook great food, but please don't bring animal products into the space; and smoking only outside, please.
 - Types of help and learning opportunities- Gardening - DIY and building projects - Help around the house - General Maintenance
 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- You'll get to know village life in Turkey; enjoy the beaches. Gumusluk is a relatively unspoiled village on the Agean, with a slow pace of life. (Actually that isn't true - there are no unspoiled villages on the coast, but it's quieter than many.)
 - Help- Just preparing the upper floors for renters. No major DIY involved.
 - Languages spoken- English: Fluent
 Turkish: Fluent
 German: Intermediate
 - Accommodation- You'll have a private room. There's also a second kitchen on top floor.
 - What else ...- Stuff you can do ... visit the beach / beaches ... walk in the hills ... visit Karakaya
Easy travel around by shared minibus ...
