    Description

we are a welcoming, friendly and trustworthy family that loves travels, culture, art and music. I am a manager who works in economic consulting and my husband, Francesco, is a university professor. We have three children, Flavia, Marco and Giulio, who were all born and grown up so far in the US, since we lived there (Philadelphia, Boston and New York) for many years because of my husband's job. Now we are very happy to be back to our hometown, Rome. We all speak very good english, therefore you will have no problem in interacting with us and talking, reading and building a close bond with our children.

Flavia (5.5) is a very energetic, determined and sweet girl. She will love you very much as her big sister. She likes hearing stories for hours, making arts and crafts, painting with watercolors, playing imaginary games and doing puzzles. She is going to preschool from Monday to Friday until 4pm.

Marco (3.5) is a smiling, affectionate and tender toddler. He loves music and sing songs, listening stories, doing constructions with blocks, playing with tractors and cars! He is going to the last year of nursery from Monday to Friday until 4pm.

Giulio (2) is a curious, active and kind baby. He is very active, determined and independent. He has just started to speak both in english and italian. He loves music and doing constructions with blocks (especially the Kapla) and of course playing with Flavia and Marco! He is going to the nursery as well from Monday to Friday until 4pm.

    Help

We expect that you are a person with a strong smiling attitude and capacity and enjoyment in dealing with children. Personal qualities we value are honesty and neatness. An interest in early education would be a plus. We expect that you want to be part of our family, sharing our everyday life in an easy and fun way. The reason we have au pairs is to maintain and improve our children’s English whilst widening their perspective on the world.

Your main task will be to actively play and interact, speaking in english only, with our children. You will not be required to drive and we do not expect you to perform any housework (apart to keep your room and bathroom tidy). We also have a person who takes care of the house daily and who can also help with children when necessary (typically at bath time) and especially with Giulio.
