    Description

A homey feel hostel found by 2 passionate travellers - CJ and Lily. At the moment we are the only hostel in Muar, Johor (40km from Melaka City). If you need a quiet place and get out from touristic place, this is definitely a place for you. We are surrounding by Malay villages but only 4km to the town. Few paddy fields and fisher jetties can be reached by bicycle.

We are looking for independent backpacker/ traveler/ student who needs a break while traveling. The work here is rather easy and relaxing.

We need a person who is self-motivated and responsible. Because there are a lot of chances that you need to work alone. The basic work scope is help to check-in/ out, daily housekeeping, watering the plants, etc.

Different from other hostel, we are not in the touristic place. Hence the guests here are usually slow moving backpackers/ travelers, you will have the chance to interact with people from different background and learn their interesting stories. You are also welcome to bring guests out for dinner, cycling tour, or to organize events such as movie night/ pop up kitchen, etc.

    Volunteering period: 5 hours/ day, 2 day off/ week.
A commitment of at least 2 weeks to 1 month is preferable.

Bed in dorm room with A/C (female volunteer can have bed in Female Dorm)
