  A retired French teacher, I am a grand mother with four little children, I garden bio, I give piano lessons and am involved in an association that exchanges seeds (vegetables and flowers). My husband and I live in a big house ,far from the town (5km) with a view over the Pyrénées and a large garden (vegetables, flowers and fruit). I can lend you my car if you have a driving licence. like exchanging about everything, life, flowers, politics, culture, painting, music and I am looking forward to meeting new people.
  
  Professeur de français à la retraite, suis grand'mère de quatre petits enfants, je cultive mon propre jardin bio, je donne des cours de piano et je fais partie d'une association qui échange des graines. Je vis avec mon mari dans une grande maison assez isolée avec vue sur les Pyrénées et un grand jardin (potagers, fleurs et fruits). Je peux vous prêter ma voiture pour des déplacements si vous avez le permis de conduire. J'aime échanger sur tout, la vie, les fleurs, la politique, la culture, la peinture, la musique, et suis ravie de faire de nouvelles connaissances.

  I live with my husband who loves talking! We can have two people to help us who will live in another part of the house. I can give you French lessons in exchange of your help in the garden, we can have lunch together and you are independent at night for your dinner. We pay for all meals we can have together or separately. After helping, you can visit the region, go for long walks or stay at home with us when we are available.
  
  je vis avec mon mari qui adore dialoguer. Nous pouvons héberger deux personnes pour nous aider dans une partie indépendante de la maison. Je vous propose des cours de français contre de l'aide au jardin, de prendre les repas le midi avec nous et le soir dans votre habitation (cuisine indépendante), nous payons tous les repas. Après les aides fournies, vous pouvez visiter la région, faire de belles randonnées, ou rester avec nous pour bavarder quand nous sommes disponibles.

  Help

  I am looking for some help in the garden and some projects in the house (painting, organising etc). The hedges of the garde need to be looked after, and depending on the season, we grow vegetables, pick them, cook them, and I like doing so with other people. The wooden terrace needs repainting. Some painting in the house, the kitchen. Sometimes I can no longer do hard tasks in the garden and I need help for that.
  
  je cherche une aide pour le jardin et quelques travaux pour la maison éventuellement (rangement, peinture, organisation de la maison...). Les haies du jardin ont besoin d'être reprise et entretenue, et selon la saison, il faut s'occuper des plates bandes pour les légumes, les récolter, les cuisiner. J'aime bien faire tout ça à plusieurs sauf les travaux difficiles car je ne suis plus toute jeune.

  I'd love to learn Slovak or Czech which is the language my son-in-law speaks and my daughter and grandchildren! I can teach French as a foreign language even if you don't speak Slovak o Czech.

  What else ...

  During your free time, you can go for long walks, visit the region, go to Spain (one hour's drive), enjoy the terrace in the garden, stay at home with us, or share family life when the children and grandchildren are here. It's better if you have a car to be independent, otherwise we can lend you ours if needed or give you a lift to the station or somewhere else.
  
  Pendant votre temps libre, vous pouvez faire des randonnées, visiter la région, aller en Espagne (1h en voiture), rester bavarder avec nous, profiter de la terrasse ou partager la vie de famille quand les enfants et petits enfants sont là.
  Il vaut mieux avoir une voiture pour etre plus indépendant sinon on peut vous prêter la nôtre en cas de besoin ou vous accompagner à la gare ou ailleurs.
