Basic english spoken.
Place of mountain and peasant life turned towards food and energy autonomy.
In the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, on 16 hectares, at an altitude of 1000 meters and a 15 minutes walk from the first road ; The eco-place welcomes you in a grandiose setting, in the middle of the forest and far from any nuisance.
On site you can discover and participate (depending on the season) in beekeeping, animal care (geese, hens, rabbits, pigs, herd of 34 goats, 4 cats, a herd dog ...), milking, cheese making and herding goats roaming free in the mountains; gardening, logging, construction, maintenance or improvement of the site.
Place with a collective vocation, non-profit, without religious or spiritual orientation. To achieve autonomy, there is no other possibility than action. Here we are here every day, all year round and want to share this life with people in the same dynamic. You will be able to find the fruits of these efforts every day on the table since the farm produces most of what we consume.
We generally meet around 9 a.m. to take stock of the day's construction sites, take a break at noon, more or less long depending on the season, and resume until the end of the day.
Sunday is free for those who wish.
We receive all the year for minimum 15 days and installation as permanent possible for who is really motivated to live this kind of life.

Lieu de vie montagnard et paysan tourné vers l'autonomie alimentaire et énergétique.
Au coeur des Pyrénées ariégeoises, sur 16 hectares, à 1000 mètres d'altitude et à 15 minutes de marche de la première route ; L'écolieu vous accueille dans un cadre grandiose, au milieu de la forêt et loin de toute nuisance.
Sur place vous pourrez découvrir et participer (selon les saisons) aux travaux apicoles, aux soins aux animaux ( oies, poules, lapins, cochons, troupeau de 35 chèvres, 4 chats, un chien de troupeau...), à la traite, à la fabrication du fromage et au gardiennage des chèvres dans la montagne ; Au maraîchage, bûcheronnage, travaux de construction, d'entretien ou d'amélioration du lieu.
Lieu à vocation collective, non lucratif, sans orientation religieuse ni spirituelle. Pour atteindre l'autonomie nulle autre possibilité que l'action. Ici nous y sommes ici tous les jours, toute l'année et souhaitons partager cette vie avec des gens dans la même dynamique. Vous pourrez trouver les fruits de ces efforts tous les jours sur la table puisque la ferme produit l'essentiel de ce que nous consommons.
Le nombre de personnes présentes sur place est variable selon les périodes de l'année.
Nous nous retrouvons généralement vers 9h pour faire le point sur les chantiers de la journée, faisons une pause à midi, plus ou moins longue selon la saison, et reprenons jusqu'à la fin de journée.
Le dimanche est libre pour ceux qui le souhaitent.
Nous recevons toute l'année pour minimum 15 jours et installation en tant que permanent(e) possible pour qui est réellement motivé à vivre ce genre de vie.

Above all, we are looking for people wishing to get involved during their stay in the life of the farm and the community as if it were their own.
The activities are numerous and vary according to the seasons but often require physical effort, life here resembling that of the peasants of yesteryear.
Depending on the period (and the weather) you can participate in the work of the vegetable garden, the renovation of the buildings, the clearing, the milking of the goats and the making of the cheese, the work with the bees...

Nous recherchons avant tout des gens souhaitant s'impliquer le temps de leur séjour dans la vie de la ferme et de la communauté comme si c'était la leur.
Les activités sont nombreuses et variables selon les saisons mais nécessitent souvent des efforts physiques, la vie ici ressemblant beaucoup à celle des paysans d'autrefois.
Selon les périodes (et la météo) vous pourrez participer aux travaux du potager, à la rénovation des bâtiments, au défrichage, à la traite des chèvres et à la fabrication du fromage, aux travaux aux ruchers...

Accommodation in a tepee (2 people), cabin (2 people), caravan, small room or camping in large tents in the summer, dry toilets, outdoor shower in the forest for the warriors or hot indoors for the more chilly, spring water and self-produced electricity. Cooking over a wood fire. Simple and rustic life in joy and good humor. Vegetarian meals possible.

Logement en tipi (2 personnes), cabane (2 personnes), caravane, chambrette ou camping sous grandes tentes à la belle saison, toilettes sèches, douche extérieure dans la forêt pour les guerrier(e)s ou chaude à l'intérieur, eau de source et électricité autoproduite. Cuisine au feu de bois. Vie simple et rustique dans la joie et la bonne humeur. Repas végétariens possibles.
