Description
My name is Eline, and I live in Kalle, which is a small place just 20 minute from Svolvær.
My house and farm are located right by a long sandy beach, where you can wake up to the sound of waves and enjoy a morning swim every day. Right above my house towers Vågakallen, one of the most majestic mountains in all of Lofoten and a well-known landmark. Kalle is a popular outdoor recreation area for both locals and visitors. It is also a renowned spot for rock climbing, with countless climbing routes of varying difficulty levels.
I am a teacher and work in Svolvær. I am a social and community-oriented person. I enjoy meeting new people, but I also occasionally need some privacy. I have three adult children who have moved out but come home during holidays.I have a close relationship with my neighbours and its always people hanging out at my place.
I have a large house with many bedrooms, as well as a newly restored barn and stable. I own two Icelandic horses, Yrja and Stella. Additionally, I have quails and three cats. I need help with farm work, such as building and maintaining fences, caring for the horses and chickens, as well as general maintenance like painting and simple carpentry.Types of help and learning opportunities

I’m a social person and often have visits from friends, my boyfriend and family. My place is a spot many people come to for climbing and relaxation. My two neighbours and I form a small community, and we often do activities or projects together.

Some of the work we will do together, but you will also work alone following instructions/guidance from me. I appreciate independence and taking initiative. The workday can be very flexible, depending on what you prefer. If the weather is nice and you want to go climbing, you can save the hours and work double the next day. We share a kitchen and bathroom. I won’t be providing meals, so food is not included. The workday is 4 hours, or whatever we agree on from day to day. I want a flexible and trust-based tone.Languages

We share kitchen and bathroom. Meals are not included. However, it's nice to have shared meals when it works out.A little more information
