    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

At our school, cultural exchange is at the heart of what we do. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to connect with our students, team, and local community through language, learning, and daily life.

We often organize language exchange meetups, group conversations, or small activities where you can share your culture and learn about Moroccan traditions, food, and values.

You’ll also get the chance to:
    Learn Darija (Moroccan Arabic)
Discover local customs and way of life
Share your own culture and teaching ideas with us

We love learning from people around the world and hope that, through this experience, we can all grow together

    Help

We’re mainly looking for volunteers to help us teach languages, especially English, French, Spanish, German, or Italian. You might be assisting with group classes, one-on-one conversation sessions, or fun educational activities for kids, teens, or adults. No formal teaching experience is required, just patience, good energy, and a passion for language!

    We also appreciate help with:
Creating content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Advertising and promoting our school online
Bringing fresh ideas for activities, workshops, or school projects

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Volunteers will stay in a fully furnished flat located just a 10-minute drive from our school. The apartment is comfortable, bright, and set up with everything needed for daily living. It includes:

Two beds (can be arranged as a shared or private room depending on the number of volunteers)

A fully equipped kitchen with all cooking supplies, fridge, stove, utensils, and storage space for food

A living area with furniture for relaxing after class or socializing with other volunteers

A private bathroom with shower, toilet, and hot water

Wi-Fi connection for study, lesson prep, or staying in touch with family and friends

Laundry facilities (washing machine and drying rack)

Transportation between the flat and the school is easy and takes about 10 minutes. Depending on your preference, you may walk, cycle, or use local transport.

The flat is intended to be a home away from home, where volunteers can relax, cook their own meals, and enjoy cultural exchange with fellow Workawayers.

We provide comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished flat (10 minutes from the school) and full groceries so that volunteers can prepare meals at the flat. In addition, we share 2 group meals per week together, which are great moments for cultural exchange.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During your free time, you’ll have plenty of options to explore! Taxis are cheap, easy to find, and very comfortable. for example, a taxi ride from Tetouan to Tangier takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes and costs around 6 USD. This makes visiting nearby cities and attractions simple and affordable.

We live a simple, respectful lifestyle and appreciate open-minded people who are kind, flexible, and curious about new cultures. While we don’t have strict house rules, we value good communication, responsibility, and mutual respect.

We’re always happy to help you enjoy your stay and discover the beauty of northern Morocco!
