Help
We´re tucked away about 45 minutes from the nearest town, but don't worry, hopping on public transport to the capital is a piece of cake whenever we need a city fix.
Our daily grind kicks off with the chirping of birds and the excited barks of our furry friends, as we drag ourselves out of bed for an early morning stroll. My four dogs practically drag us out the door, leading the way as we amble through fields and forests, soaking up the peace and quiet.
Back at home, it's time to play farmer. First up, we head to the chicken coop to dish out breakfast for our clucky companions. Those hens are always happy to see us, especially when we bring treats! And you can bet we're not leaving without a handful of fresh eggs for brekkie.
Then it's off to the veggie patch to get our hands dirty. Armed with shovels and rakes, we dive into the dirt, tending to our little patch of paradise. We're all about that permaculture life, so we're mulching, weeding, and planting like there's no tomorrow.
But it's not all work and no play around here. When we're not knee-deep in soil, we're hitting the trails or saddling up for a horseback adventure. Nature's our playground, with endless trails to explore and critters to spot. Birdwatching, horse riding - you name it, we're game.
As the sun dips below the horizon, we wrap up another day in paradise. Gathered around a crackling fire, we swap stories and soak in the magic of this little slice of heaven. Life's good when you're living in sync with nature, taking each day as it comes, and finding joy in the simple things.
But our journey won't just be about work – it will also be about embracing the beauty and culture of Colombia. From exploring hidden waterfalls to savoring delicious Colombian cuisine, there will be plenty of opportunities to immerse ourselves in the richness of this amazing country.

Accommodation
My cottage may be simple, but it's equipped with all the comforts of home. Prepare delicious meals in our fully-equipped kitchen, stocked with locally-sourced ingredients and culinary delights. Share laughter and stories around the dining table, where every meal becomes a celebration of friendship and community.
As night falls, retire to the comfort of our inviting bedrooms, where soft linens and fluffy pillows promise a restful night's sleep. Drift off to the soothing sounds of nature outside your window – a chorus of crickets, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the occasional call of nocturnal wildlife.
All meals will be provided to the workawayer. There will be really delicious treats made from local farmers and organic produce, such as a typical "sancocho" or a "picada". And in addition to that tropical and exotic fruits are always on the menu.

Colombia's got it all for your downtime! You can wander through National Parks, chase waterfalls, and scout for colorful birds. Don't miss out on the thrill of horseback riding and discovering hidden hiking trails. And when hunger strikes, dive into the world of local cuisine, from street eats to savory specialties. Plus, hanging with locals to learn about coffee picking and panela-making? That's like getting a backstage pass to Colombian culture!
