Description
Hello Workawayers! 😊
I’m a world traveler who fell in love with the warmth of the Mozambican people and decided to settle (for now) in the charming village of Tofo.
I am living just a short walk from the stunning beach of Tofo, a true paradise for ocean lovers, surfers, divers, and anyone looking to slow down and enjoy nature.
My home is located in a peaceful part of Tofo, surrounded by coconut trees and the sound of the sea. Life here is simple and beautiful. You’ll find a vibrant local community, fresh seafood, and one of the most beautiful coastlines in Africa. The sunsets are something magical, and the pace of life makes it easy to connect with yourself and others.Types of help and learning opportunities

Living in Tofo is truly something magical – it’s more than just a place, it’s an experience that stays with you. The village has a unique rhythm where life flows between the ocean and the community. Waking up to the sound of the waves, wandering through the local market, and sharing moments with the warm and welcoming Mozambican people creates an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
Here you can learn so much beyond the practical tasks of volunteering – from crafts to the local language and way of life. The ocean itself is a teacher too, with diving, surfing, and the chance to witness incredible marine life like whale sharks, manta rays, and humpback whales.
It’s a place where simplicity meets richness, where you slow down and connect deeply – with nature, with people, and with yourself. Tofo offers an authentic cultural exchange, and every day brings a new story, a new lesson, and a memory to carry forever.Help
I’m on the hunt for talented artists and skilled hands to help transform the blank canvas of my new home. If you're passionate about turning white walls into works of art (or have a knack for home improvement), I’d love to hear from you!

You will have your own room with a private bathroom. The rest of the house will be shared with me.
Unfortunately I will not be able to provide you with food, but you can use the kitchen and prepare your own meals. Also, the local food at the market is very cheap, so usually people end up going there.
only 3 hours a day, 5 days a weekWhat else ...
In Tofo you cannot get bored, there are a lot of activities you can do: surfing, diving, quad trips, sea safari for whale watching and other marine life. Night life is also pretty active and I can garantee you that you willl not get bored.

Although I don't have internet in the house (using my phone data), there is a magical lodge very close to my house with great internet connection, swimming pool and all of these just in front of the sea. So if you need to do some work, that is a great option.
