  Description

  My name is Dario. We are a family of three, with my wife Juana, and my one year old son, Damian.
  
  Over a year ago, when our little one was on the way, we decided to live further outside of Samaipata. We have a piece of land there with many fruit trees, which we are gradually shaping into our beautiful home.
  From June to around December, tangerines, oranges, mulberries, peaches and also café ripen. This is when we need support with harvesting and processing. There is a vegetable garden close to the house, which we are constantly expanding.
  
  In addition to general garden maintenance and everyday household activities, we focus on projects such as building a dry toilet, chicken coop. We also need help building our house, laying water pipes, planting trees, creating terraces, etc.
  
  You have the opportunity to experience a digital detox time with us! Internet access is a 15-minute walk from our house.
  Water comes from the top of the mountain and in the evenings we use our small solar lamps and candles (does that sound romantic...).
  We are not dropouts, just convinced that it is better to raise a child in a rural area.
  Since we have only lived there for a year, “the luxury” comes little by little.
  
  We have a dog Lotta and our cat Lisael.
  
  A moto taxi will take you to us from Samaipata for 30 to 35 bs. in half an hour.
  
  It would be great if you stay with us over the weekend as I work in the village and so Juana has support.

  Somos una familia de tres: Juana, mi esposa; Damian, mi hijo de un año y yo, Dario.
  
  Hace más de un año, cuando nuestro pequeño estaba en camino, decidimos vivir más lejos de Samaipata. Allí tenemos un terreno con muchos árboles frutales, al que poco a poco vamos dando forma a nuestra hermosa casa.
  Desde junio hasta aproximadamente diciembre maduran mandarinas, naranjas, moras, duraznos y también café, donde necesitamos apoyo en la cosecha y el procesamiento. Cerca de la casa hay nuestra huerta que estamos ampliando constantemente.
  
  Además del mantenimiento general del jardín y las tareas domésticas cotidianas, nos concentramos en proyectos como construir un baño seco, un gallinero o nuestra casa, poner tuberías de agua, plantar árboles, crear terrazas, etc.
  
  También tenemos una perra Lotta y nuestro gato Lisael.
  
  ¡Tienes la oportunidad de disfrutar un tiempo de desintoxicación digital! El acceso a Internet está a 15 minutos a pie de nuestra casa.
  El agua proviene de la cima de la montaña y por las noches usamos nuestras pequeñas lámparas solares y velas (suena romántico..).
  No somos gente que quiere escapar de la sociedad, simplemente estamos convencidos de que es mejor criar a un niño en un ambiente rural.
  Como sólo llevamos un año viviendo allí, “el lujo” llega poco a poco.
  
  Un mototaxi te traerá desde Samaipata por 30 a 35 bs. en media hora.
  
  Sería genial si te quedaras con nosotros el fin de semana ya que trabajo en el pueblo y así Juana tiene apoyo.

  Wir sind eine dreiköpfige Familie, Juana meine Frau, Damian mein einjähriger Sohn und ich: Dario.
  
  Seit über einem Jahr, als unser Kleiner auf dem Weg war, haben wir uns entschieden weiter ausserhalb von Samaipata zu leben. Wir haben dort ein Stück Land mit vielen Obst- und Fruchtbäumen, welches wir nach und nach zu unserer schönen Heimat formen.
  Ab Juni bis etwa Dezember reifen Mandarinen, Orangen, Maulbeeren, Pfirsiche und auch Cafe, wo wir Unterstützung bei der Ernte und Verarbeitung brauchen. Ein Gemüsegärtchen ist nah am Haus, welches wir ständig erweitern.
  
  Neben allgemeiner Pflege des Gartens und den alltäglichen Haushaltsarbeiten, konzentrieren wir uns auf Projekte wie ein Trockenklo, Hühnerstall und unser Haus bauen, Wasserleitungen legen, Bäume pflanzen, oder Terrassen anlegen etc.
  
  Wir haben noch eine Hündin Lotta und unseren Kater Lisael.
  
  Ihr habt bei uns die Möglichkeit eine Digital-Detox Zeit einzulegen! Internetzugang hat man 15 min zu Fuss von unserem Haus.
  Wasser kommt oben vom Berg und Abends nutzen wir unsere kleinen Solarlampen und Kerzen (Klingt das romantisch..).
  Wir sind keine Aussteiger, nur davon überzeugt, dass man ein Kind besser, auf dem Land aufziehen kann.
  Da wir erst ein Jahr dort leben kommt "der Luxus" Stück für Stück.
  
  Von Samaipata bringt euch ein Mototaxi für 30 bis 35 bs. und in etwa 30 min zu uns.
  
  Es wäre Top, wenn ihr über das Wochenende bei uns bleibt, da ich im Dorf arbeite, und so Juana Unterstützung hat.

  We have two separate houses, so you have your own room with a double bed.
  You get breakfast, lunch and dinner from us; we are vegetarians. Helping out in the kitchen is part of the responsibilities.
  Generally, I buy my groceries once per week (by motorbike). Please bring as much fruit as you can carry in your backpack.

  Puedes desayunar, almorzar y cenar con nosotros; somos vegetarianos. Ayudar en la cocina es parte de las responsabilidades.
  Normalmente hago una compra por semana (en moto). Por favor traigan tanta fruta como pueda entrar en su mochila.

  Wir haben zwei getrennte Häuschen, sodass ihr euer eigenes Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett habt.
  Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen bekommt ihr bei uns, wir ernähren uns vegetarisch. Mithelfen in der Küche ist ein Teil der Aufgaben.
  Da ich generell einen Einkauf pro Woche hoch bringe (mit dem Motorrad). Bringt bitte so viele Früchte oder Obst mit wie noch in euren Rucksack passt.
