Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Berlin is a Multicultural City, Where different languages are spoken .
The volunteers will benefit from our Berlin multicultural communities events, like street markets events
where they can meet other different people with other background , languages and foods too.
People are friendly and helpful.
Berlin is full of all types of different open streets markets, restaurants, cafes, Cinemas, Disco weekend entertainment events , Zoos, Swimming pool, parks Gyms, you name it we have all here.
In exchange I would like to share our mixed culture our way of living, cooking, eating together, talking and shopping. And vis visa too.J
I would like to share abit of the Berlin most amazing history,
After the Germany lost the second world War to Britain, something funny I would rather say happened.., Four countries occupied Berlin straight away and divided the town to themselves., by then it was just a town. Those countries were:- America, Britain, France and Russia.
The Great Berlin was then transformed into an ISLAND CITY! Very interesting both Countries including the Germany Shared the City.
Do you known that Berlin is both a Country and a City of its own? Yes!
There is much more amazing things for you to learn in Germany as a whole.
Help
I would like the volunteer to practice the Japanese with us, help with household tasks with our girls like showing them how to prepare easy Japanese food together.

What else ...
In their free time they can explore the City of Berlin, there is alot to see and many places to visit.
They can reach the old Berlin town Kurfustendamm on foot , or with bikes,.
The public transports are just outside the door.. On weekends we like going out, so we can go out together as family if they wish.
We have a very big nice park with playing grounds like Tenis, table tenis, football, walking, or just relaxing pickinic etc
The volunteers will like it here , they can not be bored. they can chose where they want to go.
How to reach us., if you are flying please land at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, its well connected by busses, trains and taxis just outside. I would advise you to take either the bus or train, because it might be a bit expensive for taxi due to traffic jump., around 100 € or more. Its around 17km and can take 30min by public transport or more.
The public transportation fare is planned by zones, AB is in the City 2hr ticket costs 4€ this ticket can be used on both busses, trains, underground train. Then we have Zone C the ticket covers outskirts of Berlin, the Airport too the cost almost 5€. We have also a monthly ticket which is more flexible and cheaper costing 59€, with this ticket you can travel through out Germany with the normal trains not the (ICE)
Means (Inter City Express)
