    Description

Hi, I'm Richard, looking for help getting my schooner ready to sail in beautiful Rio Dulce, Guatemala. It's not a luxury yacht, but a proven expedition vessel that I've sailed to Antarctica and the Arctic, among other places.

You can learn about boats, knots&splices, sailing, rowing. The area is a beautiful place to explore by rowboat, and you are free to use mine.

There are opportunities to meet with other cruisers, and potentially sail away with them, or with me when I sail to Panama.

Things to see in the area include waterfalls, a historic fort and hiking trails.

There are many shops/bars/restaurants in easy walking distance.

There are public lanchas to get places by water, ie to Livingston.
There are tuktuks to take for nearby places (or you can walk), and collectivos (minivans) to take to go farther.

Please note there is no smoking on the boat.
