  Description

  We are a young couple in Lozere who are renovating a stone house using the most natural techniques and materials possible. My name is Eline, my partner Yan, our cat Perlipopette, the one who lives in the Tiny in the garden is Seb, there are my parents next door Jean Charles and Chantal and then the neighbors from the village. We are 19 residents all year round. La Vialette is a small hamlet in northern Lozere near Malzieu.
  
  We would be delighted to share moments of life with workaways from all over the world!
  
  Nous sommes un jeune couple en Lozere qui retapons une maison en pierre en utilisant des techniques et des matériaux le plus naturels possible. Je m'appelle Eline, mon conjoint Yan, notre chatte Perlipopette, celui qui vit dans la Tiny dans le jardin c'est Seb, il y a mes parents à côté Jean Charles et Chantal puis les voisins du village. Nous sommes 19 habitants à l'année. La Vialette est un petit hameau du nord Lozere proche du Malzieu.

  Dry stone working techniques are great to share, we speak 5 languages and we love climbing. We can take you climbing not far away, hiking, cycling, Via Ferrata....
  
  Les techniques de travail de la pierre sèche sont géniales a partager, on parle 5 langues et on adore grimper. On pourra vous emmener faire de l'escalade pas loin, rando, vélo, Via Ferrata....

  Help

  We need help with tasks that are difficult to do alone. Construction of dry stone walls, turning over the garden soil, lime joints of the house, taking out the stones with the tractor, paving the floor with dry stones.....
  We ask around 5 hours of work per day, 5 days per week. We offer accommodation as well as meals to share together.
  
  Nous avons besoin d'aide sur des taches difficiles à effectuer seule. Construction de muret en pierre sèches, retourner la terre du jardin, joints de la maison à la chaux, sortir les pierres avec le tracteur, paver le sol en pierres seches.....
  Nous proposons 5h de travail par jour 5 jours par semaine. Nous proposons le logement ainsi que les repas à partager ensemble.

  What else ...

  Lozère offers an incredible amount of natural sites to discover. In addition to the Aubrac plateau not far away, the paths of St Jacques de Compostela pass nearby. The surrounding villages are all as rich in heritage as in history. Le Malzieu, 10 minutes by car, is a superb medieval village classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
  We are 1h30 from the Tarn gorges and La Jonte for climbing!
  
  La Lozère offre une quantité incroyable de site naturel à découvrir. En plus du plateau de l'Aubrac pas loin, les cheins de St Jacques de Comppostelle passe à coté. Les villages alentours sont tous aussi riches en patrimoine qu'en histoire. Le Malzieu à 10 minutes en voitures est un superbe village médiéval classé dans les plus beaux villages de France. On est à 1h30 des gorges du Tarn et de La Jonte pour l'escalade !
