J'ai passé quelque semaine avec Nadia, malheureusement j'ai du racouricir mon séjour mais j'aurais adoré rester plus longtemps. Chez Nadia il y a toujours de quoi s'occuper et toujours un sourire ou une discussion à partager.
Le lieu est magnifique, ça vous ferra le plus grand bien ! N'hésitez pas une seule seconde ce ne sera que formateur :)

I spent a month at Nadia’s farm and I had a great time overall thanks to the locals. The farm is located in a gorgeous area of Morocco and the people there are super friendly.

Nadia is nice and sincere about everything she does but she’s also very disorganized (but she knows it.^^) which can be a problem sometimes. I spent only a few days with… read more her over the course of my stay but we had a fun time together.

As for the work in itself, you should know that at the time I’m writing this review, her profile is not up to date. The development project has moved from the farm to Sidi Ifni. Nadia has opened a restaurant there; she runs it while you house-sit the farm which is about 30km away. Therefore you should know that your host won’t be present and that you need to be independent and autonomous on your work. As I said, you’re basically looking after her house and after her animals (2 horses, 1 donkey, several chickens, a cat and a dog) while she’s away. Basically you only need to feed them and let them out everyday. Then again, Nadia not being there, I had to learn how to feed and deal with the animals with the help of the other volunteers and on my own. It wasn’t an issue for me as I’m very adaptable but I was a bit disappointed that there was absolutely nothing to do regarding the development project.
There are various tasks and projects you can take on (art project, cement work, gardening, building a tent, etc.) but the inadequate tools and supplies makes it very difficult and very frustrating. On the plus side Nadia is very understanding and flexible about the work you do; therefore she’s happy as long as some work is done.
I also went to Sidi Ifni every now and then; when I was there I was also giving her a hand in the restaurant : helping with food prep, playing with the kids and waitressing.

On a more practical perspective : the farm is a bit isolated, the nearest town being 10km away but there is a convinience store (the shopkeeper will try to rip you off so ask for the price in advance), a cafe and a community hoven (where you can buy traditional bread) just a few hundred meters away. At the begining of my stay we had running water and hot water, but after a couple of weeks there was no water anymore so I could only rely on a solar water pump (that only works during the day) to get all the water I needed for food prep, the animals and my shower. For drinking water you need to go her neighboor Si Ali, a lovely man who lets you fill your water bottles at his place. There is no wifi at her place either. Finally, Nadia doesn’t speak English which might be troublesome if you don't speak any French cause you’ll basically have no clue of what’s going on.

TL;DR : lovely nature, lovely people, workload is okay, profile not up to date, host not present and doesn’t speak english, expect the unexpected, prepare for a rough and bumpy ride.
