Description
Hello, we are Giuseppe and Janiele, we have 2 children and we want to carry out a self-sufficient life project in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature in front of the imposing Majella mountain in the territory of Archi (CHIETI).
Nature gave us the possibility of receiving a place full of life
with fruit trees, a bambuseto, various gardens and a lot of forest.
We are restoring an old ruin with sustainable materials
Just for mechanics and metal, paint, art lovers, we have 40 vintage cars to take in pieces to have back the rare mechanics parts and transform the car body into work of art!
One of our projects was to restore a 400-year-old mill that is inside our house, the only one in the entire region. Finally, we were able to complete the restoration with the help of other volunteers who stopped by.
Now everything needs to be cleaned and treated with care and love
So, there are many works to do, respecting the nature time and space... and of course there are many things to enjoy and share...

Hola, somos Giuseppe y Janiele, tenemos 2 hijos y queremos llevar a cabo un proyecto de vida autosuficiente en un lindo lugar, rodeado por la naturaleza en frente a la imponente montana Majella en el territorio de Archi (CHIETI)
La naturaleza nos dio la posibilidad de recibir un lugar lleno de vida
con arboles frutales, un bambuseto, diversos jardines y mucho bosque.
Estamos reconstruyendo y restaurando una vieja ruina con materiales sostenibles
Si te gusta la mecanica el metal y el arte tenemos 40 o mas carros antigos para sacarle las piezas recuperable y transformar la carroceria en obras de arte!
Uno de nuestros proyectos fue restaurar un molino de 400 años que está dentro de nuestra casa, el único en toda la región. Finalmente, pudimos completar la restauración con la ayuda de otros voluntarios que pasaron por aquí.
Ahora todo necesita ser limpiado y tratado con cuidado y amor
Entonces tenemos muchas cosas para hacer respectando los tiempos y modos de la naturaleza

Son bienvenidos los chicos de buena voluntad y que se adaptan a la vida sencilla, con un buen manual de herramientas tales como: taladro, sierra manual, motosierra, carretilla, pala, cubos, redes y otras herramientas manuales
algunos ejemplos de ayuda:
- Restauración de piedras y muros antigos.
- limpiar el suelo del bosque.
- Sembrar, plantar y recoger frutas y verduras.
- Cortar y recoger la madera para sistemas de calefacción.
- Cortar, limpiar y recoger los filetes de bambú.
- Trabajos de carpintería, construcción de cajas como laboratorio y casa de herramientas.
- Recolección de olivos para el aceite virgen extra biologico.
- Elaboración de conservas a partir de los cultivos (normalmente en verano).
- Construir invernaderos para frutas tropicales y hierbas medicinales.
- Crea un nuevo típico de casas orgánicas y naturales usando la naturaleza alrededor, como plantas trepadoras, casas en
los árboles, etc.

we are interested in language exchange, we offer practice of Italian, Spanish or Portuguese, with the intention of improving our English which is very basic.
Accommodation
We have the wonderful "ciccotta", a restored medieval jail with a very comfortable fireplace, which has recently been transformed into a living room and kitchen.
We share the same house and the volunteers have a private room and bathroom just for them.
In summer we will prepare tents, teepees and yurt in a beautiful garden and in the bamboo bush of the property.
We offer meals from local produce and from our garden...and obviously if you need a special meal you need to think about it.
we practice a predominantly vegetarian and non-industrial diet like "lu pizz' e ffoije"

We are 22 km from the sea, where there are music events etc...and 28 km from Mountains, here there is the Majella mountain...
There is a local bus close to our house for go to the near train station of Lanciano for take a train to Pescara city.
Abruzzo region is a very variously land, with more vegetation And a lot of wild animals
