    Description

I live in the mountains near San Martín de los Andes, in one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas of Patagonia. The house is surrounded by forests, lakes, and incredible scenery. Mount Lolog rises directly behind the property and Lake Lolog is only 300 meters away. Chapelco Ski Center is 30 minutes away and Lanín National Park is 20 minutes away. If you love nature, quiet spaces, and outdoor activities, you will enjoy living here.

I’m looking for someone to help me with personal projects around the house and land, as well as a creative documentation project I’m building for myself. This may include:

    Hands-on help

    • basic maintenance
    • small woodworking tasks
    • helping build a barn for my horse
    • helping build a small sauna
    • simple improvements around the house
    • organizing tools and spaces
    • assisting with DIY projects

    Creative help

    • taking photos or short videos of daily life, outdoor activities, and building projects
    • helping create simple guides or visual explanations of tasks
    • organizing digital material so I can preserve it and share it with family and friends
    • helping document Patagonian rural living for cultural and personal exchange

This is ideal for someone who is organized, enjoys creating and documenting things, and appreciates a calm, nature-focused environment.

You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom. The house is spacious with a shared kitchen, wood stoves, Starlink internet, a work desk, and everything you need to feel comfortable.

In your free time, you can hike, trek, mountain bike, kayak, fly fish, ride horses, snowboard, ski, or enjoy stand-up paddling. I can provide equipment such as a kayak, a stand-up paddle board, fly fishing gear, snowboards, a mountain bike, and music equipment like a guitar and a DJ controller. You are also welcome to ride my horse.

I am a 40-year-old finance professional originally from Argentina. After living in different countries, I chose to settle in Patagonia, where I always wanted to be. I enjoy cooking asados, staying active, exploring nature, and learning new skills. I can share knowledge about finance, Bitcoin, horseback riding, DJing, outdoor skills, and Argentine culture. I speak Spanish and English fluently, and basic Italian.

This is a good place for someone who values nature, learning, cultural exchange, and simple mountain living. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing experiences while working on meaningful and practical projects together.

Living here gives you the chance to experience real Patagonian life. I am originally from Argentina and I enjoy sharing local traditions, especially cooking asados, exploring nearby towns, and spending time outdoors. I love sports and mountain activities, so you can join me for hikes, lake days, horse rides, or simply enjoying the calm lifestyle of the area.

I can share many different skills, depending on what interests you. This includes decentralized systems education, horseback riding, DJing, woodworking, and general hands on skills. If you want to improve your Spanish, we can practice every day. I also speak English fluently, which makes communication easy.

I enjoy meeting people from other cultures and learning about their experiences and perspectives. Hosting gives me the chance to connect with people who bring new ideas, new approaches, and new stories. I hope to learn from your background, your hobbies, and the way you see the world.

You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom in a clean, spacious, and comfortable house. The environment is quiet and surrounded by mountains and forests, which makes it an ideal place to work, rest, and enjoy nature. The house has a shared kitchen, Starlink internet, wood stoves, a working desk, and all basic services to live comfortably.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

In your free time, you will have endless options to explore the area. You can hike in the mountains, visit Lake Lolog, go fly fishing, paddle on the lake, explore the trails on a mountain bike, or spend time in San Martín de los Andes. The town is about 20 minutes away by bus and is very easy to reach. Chapelco Ski Center is close if you come during winter. I can lend you equipment like a kayak, a stand up paddle board, a mountain bike, fly fishing gear, and snowboards.

Transport is simple. There are buses that go to and from San Martín de los Andes several times a day, around 4 times depending on the season. You can also walk or bike around the local area, which is safe, quiet, and surrounded by nature. There's a few restaurants and stores that have everything you need.

Regarding the home, I live a calm and outdoors focused lifestyle. I enjoy early mornings, good food, and an active routine. The house has a peaceful atmosphere that suits people who appreciate nature and personal projects. The only house rules are to keep shared spaces clean, respect the environment, and communicate openly if you need anything.
