    Our hostel Hermanus is located in the beautiful walker bay nature reserve in Hermanus , South Africa. We always looking for volunteers and workers year round to help us with our camp and activities. We are the number one whale watching hostel in South Africa . Join us for other activities such as sea kayaking , horse riding , shark cage diving , snorkelling trips , sunset cruises , surfing lessons ,wine tasting and much more !
    We are located a hour drive from Cape Town international airports where we will collect you upon your arrival in South Africa .
    Our team consists of the owner and founder James who is a qualified sea captain and does all the whale boat trips and other staff who help with daily operations of the hostel. We have 4 surf instructors from Germany helping us this year also .

    workawayers can learn all departments of hostel operations while working with us . We offer positions in house keeping , reception, social media managers, surf instructors, drivers and social event organisers.
    You don’t need to have any experience as we will train you up in the first couple days with us .
