My stay with Meret, Patrick and the lovely kids was a wonderful time I won’t be forgetting. It was such a delightful time I got to spent with them, exchanging our cultures while also talking about the simplest things in life and learning German. They are super welcoming, sweet, open, caring and made me feel at home right from the moment I arrived.
… read more I found much pleasure in drawing and playing with the kids, that are so adorable and lively. Every meal cooked by Meret and Patrick was delicious, and they were very considerate of me, a vegetarian. I also had a lot of fun cooking meals and sitting at the table together enjoying the meals, which was one of my favourite wholesome moments I shared with them.
The tasks, like washing the dishes and taking care of the laundry, were simple and didn’t take long to finish. I was also able to be very flexible with them, which was super nice. After my shift I would go out to explore Lausanne or the other lovely towns nearby. They live in an area with beautiful views on the lake and the mountains, which is nice whenever you want to go on walks around the neighbourhood.

She's great company, very respectful, independent, sees what needs to be done without instructions, funny, good English skills, easy to talk to and interested in cultural exchange. I never had to explain tasks step by step, she would always see where help was needed and was really well organized and independent. Our apartment was so tidy and clean every day.
