Welcome to Farnese! A Nature-Loving Project in the Tuscia Viterbese (Central Italy)

Ciao! We are Susanna, my daughter Frida and Giulio. We live in Farnese, a small village in the beautiful Tuscia Viterbese region, right on the edge of the Selva del Lamone nature reserve and near the Olpeta river.

We grow olives, keep bees, and practice natural farming. Life here is quiet but full of purpose—and we’re looking for reliable, respectful people to help us with a few ongoing projects.

    What we offer:
A three-bed caravan with solar electricity and a compost toilet
Healthy, home-cooked vegan or ovo-vegetarian meals (depending on the hens!)
A peaceful, natural environment with plenty of outdoor activities: hiking, swimming, biking, climbing, combat sports, and musical instruments for those who like to play
    A few important notes:
We’ve had some less-than-great experiences, so we want to be clear:

Unfortunately, we cannot host guests with pets, especially dogs
We prefer guests who are at least vegetarian and who are not dependent on alcohol or drugs
We do not welcome homophobia, racism, conspiracy theories or hippies.
We appreciate people who are practical, respectful, and ready to get involved. If that sounds like you, we’d love to share work, food, and good company in this quiet corner of Italy
