Description
My name is Alex and I am the founder of Equine Rescue, a 100% volunteer run 501(c)3 non-profit rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing equines, and educating people on their care and upkeep. We welcome all volunteers as the animals learn to love and get healthy again.

Living and working at our ER, you'll get hands-on experience working with horses, donkeys, mules, minis and other animals (plus goats and pigs) as well as running a non profit. No prior experience with animals is required. All that's needed is a good work ethic and an eagerness to learn.
Help
We are all volunteers and need volunteers to help with every aspect of animal care: feeding, grooming, tacking/untacking, riding, and mucking. Assistance is also welcome in other areas such as shelter building, Equipment repair, tool and shed organizing and clean up, fundraising and grant writing.
