Description
We are a family of 3. Christian is an architect and I`m a lawyer. Aritz, our son, is 12 years old and he speaks english fluently. He can understand almost everything and he goes to a bilingual school where they learn a lot of english. But never is enough😜. We would like someone with teaching experience, if it’s possible, or something to do with that, creative, active, with lots of energy and talkative, who can talk and play some sports or games with him in english only 1 hour and a half or 2 a day when he arrives from school. He is no longer a little child, but not quite a teenager. Sometimes I think that he is a full-blown teenager. We don´t need help with household chores. We only want to have someone at home sharing things about our culture and good vibes. Aritz is a very active kid and talkative too. He has a lot of imagination and loves playing indoor or outdoors. He loves football, playing Ps4, watching films and series, surf ........and beig active. We love being outdoors and, the weather here is so good almost all the year, that we love going out with friends, going to the beach, hiking and visiting beautiful places around here. We’ve had some american and english au pairs and guests at home and the experiences have been great. You can see some pics with some of them. One of them has came to visit us again last august in my birth city, Bilbao, where we go every august. We live in Vila-real (Castellón de la Plana) but we have an apartment near the beach in Benicassim, so, almost all the weekends, we go there to enjoy the beach, ride bikes, hike......My husband and son love football so if you are a football fan you can easily connect with them:)
We have a small boat and we usually go on an excursion to snorkel, enjoy the sunsets ...
We are 1 our by train from Valencia and 2 from Barcelona.

Travellers can benefit from a cultural exchange visiting some beautiful places around here (Valencia, Barcelona, Benicassim, Peñíscola....). They can improve their spanish skills meeting new fiends or attending spanish lessons while Aritz is at the school. We want the traveller speaks all the time in english with Aritz but when he goes to bed or is at school the traveller can talk with us in spanish if she/he wants to improve her/his spanish. She/he would have a lot of free time to meet new people or visit places around here becouse we only need her/him to stay with Aritz speaking and playing in english 1 hour and a half or 2 each day. We’ve had american and english guests at home and the experience have been great.
The workawayer can attend classes of spanish at the Spanish Institute (Audiogil) in Castellón if she/he wants to.

So we don´t need someone with experience with little kids but with preteenagers becouse they are between the two age groups and their behavior and emotions reflect that. Our aim is he improve his english in a funny way with someone wich he could enjoy learning and playing with and wich can connect with tweens needs and likes

Accommodation
We live in an apartment in Vila-real (Castellón) but we stay there from monday to thursday becouse on weekends we use to go to our apartment in Benicassim near the beach. There we enjoy the beach, riding bikes or hiking mountains. The traveller would have her/his own private room and bath in both places.
What else ...
The traveller would have a lot of free time to attend a spanish course, meeting new friend or visiting beautiful places around here with us or new friends. We are talkative and friendly people who like being outdoors with friends enjoying beach and mountains. Valencia is only 45 minutos from here and Barcelona 1:40 minutes by train and there are other beautiful places with medieval castles to visit around here like Peñiscola, Morella, Villafames.....
