Description
Ours is a Japanese / West Indian villa on three lush acres nestled in the mountains of St Thomas, USVI. Our goal is to create a property that nurtures the philosophy of permaculture in our tropical paradise. We are at the birth phase of this project and are looking for like minded people that will help us transform the property while also enjoying all that St Thomas and the Virgin Islands have to offer.
"Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature; of protracted & thoughtful observation rather than protracted & thoughtless labour; & of looking at plants & animals in all their functions, rather than treating any area as a single-product system." Help
As we are in the beginning phase of the project, we are looking for people that can help with maintenance, repairs, and construction projects. The villa is in good condition but needs some renovation work both inside and out. We also need some help clearing trails and setting up the permaculture gardens.

The type of accommodation is basic but clean and comfy. We have hot water for showers and internet access. A kitchen area is available for use, and we will share any produce from the farm. There are dozens of fruit trees around the property, and our veggie gardens are in the making.
St Thomas does not have much public transportation so you may want to consider renting a car for part or all of your stay. We will provide airport pick up for our WorkAwayers.A little more information
