    Description

We are a Montessori educational Centre that has started a Farm School for adolescents aged 12-16 years. We offer completely alternative and holistic education, that integrates Studies through the work on the farm. We know of the importance of practical experiential learning, and also the importance of work on the land.
The Students live, work and study together on the farm. Montessori's understanding is that students will gain not only knowledge but a "preparation for Adult Life".
We are one of the first Montessori Farm Schools in India, with a great vision to grow and expand.

We are looking for support in developing our Farm, you would be very much welcomed if you have any experience in organic farming, permaculture, eco projects, or just gardening. We would also welcome any skills in building small constructions, woodwork, metalwork, and working with simple tools/machines. Further, any experience in arts or crafts would be welcome. We are also looking for some support in our student homestay (the students board at the farm, where we create a small community that supports the students' growth and development during their stay during the week). Even simple cultural exchanges will be received with great interest.
