    Description

Our family identifies in the values and lifestyle of ecovillages: we are members of Italian Ecovillage Network, although we are not an ecovillage. We live in a big house on top of a hill (400 mt on sea level) called Montello, in province of Treviso. In our place you can breath excellent quality air (much healthier than down hill Pianura Padana polluted air) and experience the taste of very good water and the peacefullness of being sorrounded by trees, fields and beautiful views of PreAlps!
Since some years we are dreaming and aiming at becoming a community, living with other families and people in a more sustainable way. We are not a community at the moment, and are planning to move somewhere else to create a new one or to enter one some days.
Our family, house and experience is open to:
    - improving my son's English with your help as motherlanguage
    - meeting people of any kind, enjoying discovering the richness of the diversity of international experience and life
    - the maintenance and care of the organic vegetable garden following principles of natural agriculture; the huge garden and little valleys around; the great variety of fruit trees (more than 30).
It’s a quite place away from city hectic rythm, all around you can find historical tours especially on the first world war (we are on Piave river, old austrian-italian border) or naturalistic excursions, both on foot or by bike, or you can enjoy the local italian food in small tipical agriturismo restaurants.
Also, our house is near Montebelluna, a small town where you can find all you need for (train and bus station, Library, Natural and Archeological Museum, italian fashion shops, shopping malls, live music pubs, pizzerias, summer disco, Italian chines or indian restaurants, wine pubs...)
Not far from here you can find interesting cultural and historical centres, or wine and food routes. Easy to get to: Asolo (15 km) a well known medieval village; to an area of many Villas, temples and museum, and musical and theatre shows. Possagno (20 km) with Canova's - famous architect and sculpturer - temple and gallery of plaster casts. In Altivole area you can visit the "Barco" of queen Cornaro, Villa Emo and the monumental tomb of Brion. The land of Prosecco wine, Valdobbiadene, is only 15 km away, Treviso 22 km, Bassano del Grappa 30 km. Most of all, in only an hour by train you can get to Venice and the Adriatic Sea,Padua or the Dolomites.
