    Description

We are a couple of retired people living in France 70 km south of Bordeaux in an 18th century renovated farm located nearby a little village. The property has 5,000 acres of meadows and about 20,000 acres of forest (mainly oaks and beeches) and our goal is to maintain this unique place of nature and life with as much respect as possible. Outside work related to forest care is of primary importance for us.
The house is very large (5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, swimming pool), designed in such a way that visitors can have their own private spaces. We are fluent in both French (native) and English. We leave with our two female border collie dogs, Perle (6 years) and Tara (1 year).

Travelers are also expected to contribute to other outside maintenance activities such as maintaining forest alleys and fence, care of fruit trees and plants, maintenance of swimming pool, ...
