    About Us
We are a warm and open family living in a beautiful home in Tyrol, Austria.
Our family consists of Markus (Austrian, originally from Tyrol), myself – Yaroslava (from Ukraine), and Markus’s daughter Vanessa (19), who lives with us together with her boyfriend Yannik.

We enjoy meeting new people from different cultures and would like to welcome someone into our home who wishes to experience life in Austria, practice German or English, and live in a friendly family environment.
As I am from Ukraine myself, we would especially love to support someone from Ukraine during these challenging times and help them take their first steps in Austria if needed.

Our Home & What We Offer

We live in a large house with plenty of space, and you will have a comfortable room and a welcoming atmosphere.
We are also happy to provide some pocket money as appreciation for your help.

We travel quite often, so it is important for us to have someone who can stay at home from time to time and look after our two cats.

    What We Need Help With

    We would appreciate support with:

-keeping the house tidy and clean

-simple gardening tasks (planting flowers, light outdoor work)

-taking care of our two cats, especially when we are traveling

    -general household maintenance

Cooking is not required — we handle that ourselves.

We are looking for someone kind, responsible, and open-minded who enjoys living as part of a family.

    About Our Family

We are an active, international and warm-hearted family living in the beautiful alpine region of Tyrol, Austria. Our household includes Markus (Austrian, originally from Tyrol), me – Yaroslava (Ukrainian), and Markus’s daughter Vanessa (19), who lives with us together with her boyfriend Yannik, both still attending school.
Because of this, you will often be in contact with the younger generation in our home.

As a family, we live a very dynamic lifestyle. We all play tennis, and Markus is the president of our local tennis club. We also enjoy golf, mountain activities, and traveling together. Although we travel quite often, we usually stay in Innsbruck during spring and summer.

I, Yaroslava, am a psychotherapist and medical doctor, which helps me build warm, supportive and trusting relationships with the people around me — including the person we host. I am also an influencer, and for transparency and trust I am happy to share my Instagram so you can get a feel for our lifestyle and who we are.

Our family loves languages. Between us, we speak German, English, Ukrainian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch and Italian, so communication is easy and we are happy to support your language learning.

We are successful in our careers and life, and we truly enjoy sharing our experience, supporting others, and helping someone grow and find new opportunities — especially in Austria.

    Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a young woman who would enjoy spending time with our family and is open to cultural exchange. Ideally, you are someone who:

is interested in learning or improving German and/or English

loves cats and feels comfortable taking care of them

enjoys nature and especially mountain landscapes, as we live in a beautiful alpine region

    is friendly, responsible, and easy-going

appreciates a calm, family-oriented home environment

is open to helping with general household tasks and simple gardening

It would be wonderful if you are someone who is curious about Austrian culture and would like to experience everyday life in Tyrol. If you are from Ukraine, we would be especially happy to welcome you and help you integrate, support you with language learning, and provide a positive start in Austria.

We do not require any special skills — just a warm heart, willingness to help, and a positive attitude.

Hiking: We are surrounded by beautiful alpine trails, suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers.

Excellent public transport: Buses and trains run regularly, making it easy to explore the entire region.

Close to Innsbruck: Our home is only a 5-minute drive from Innsbruck, a vibrant city with a charming old town, great shopping, museums, and wonderful restaurants offering both local and international cuisine.

Tennis: Since Markus is the president of our local tennis club, you are welcome to join us there — whether you already play or want to learn.

Cycling: There are many scenic bike paths in the area, perfect for relaxed rides or sportier tours.

A historic castle nearby: You can visit the local castle, which is a lovely spot for walking, sightseeing, and enjoying Tyrolean history.

Winter sports: In winter, Tyrol becomes a paradise for skiing and snowboarding. Many ski resorts are very close by.

    Our Lifestyle & House Guidelines

We are a very open and relaxed family with no strict rules. The atmosphere in our home is calm, respectful, and warm. A few things are good to know:

We usually go to bed early and prefer a peaceful daily rhythm.

We follow healthy lifestyles and avoid gluten, lactose, and sugar, so we eat quite clean and pay attention to our well-being.

Markus has bronchial asthma, so it is important for us that you do not smoke.

Moderate alcohol is fine, but we cannot host someone who struggles with alcohol addiction.

We appreciate someone who enjoys a healthy, active, and mindful lifestyle.

Besides that, we are flexible and open — we simply want you to feel comfortable, respected, and at home.
