  Welcome to the beautiful lands of Quindío where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful rural areas of Colombia. From impressive landscapes such as the Valle del Cocora with its wax palms, the highest in the world, to typical coffee towns such as Filandia or Salento. In our territory you can also enjoy the confluence of two creeks, meditation places under the bamboo trees and spectacular and unique sunsets. A cozy and homely atmosphere. We are a family eager to share and meet people.
  
  Volunteers would become part of our family while they are here. They will have complete freedom to use the common spaces on their free afternoons and go visit the surroundings whenever they like.
  
  
  Bienvenidos a las bellas tierras del Quindío donde disfrutar de una de las zonas rurales más bellas de Colombia. Desde paisajes imponentes como el Valle del Cocora con sus palmas de cera, las más altas del mundo, hasta los típicos pueblos cafeteros como Filandia o Salento. En nuestro territorio además podrán disfrutar de la confluencia de dos quebradas, lugares de meditación bajo los guaduales y atardeceres espectaculares y únicos. Un ambiente acogedor y hogareño. Somos una familia con muchas ganas de compartir y conocer gente.
  
  Los voluntarios pasarían a formar parte de nuestra familia mientras estén por acá. Tendrán total libertad de usar los espacios comunes en sus tardes libres e ir a visitar los alrededores cuando gusten.

  We have a lot of experience in sharing with travelers. After several years of traveling through hospitality website, we have finally taken another step to achieve our dream of being self-sufficient and we already have the territory where this seed is beginning to sprout that will make that dream come true.
  
  Tenemos mucha experiencia en compartir con viajeros. Tras varios años en sitio web de hospitalidad, por fin hemos dado un paso más para conseguir nuestro sueño de ser autosuficientes y ya tenemos el territorio donde ya empieza a germinar esta semilla que hará que ese sueño se haga realidad.

  Help

  We need help to carry out the ecological transition towards self-sufficiency. We have a land with a lot of potential, water sources, microclimates, fruit trees, lots of space and fresh air. We need someone with a holistic and permacultural vision to help us establish an action plan and start fine-tuning it. Likewise, maintenance and improvement tasks must also be carried out on the farm's infrastructure, we are open to the creativity of volunteers who want to contribute with new and innovative ideas.
  
  Necesitamos ayuda para llevar a cabo la transición ecológica hacia la autosuficiencia. Tenemos una tierra con mucho potencial, fuentes hídricas, microclimas, árboles frutales, mucho espacio y aire libre. Necesitamos a alguien con una visión holística y permacultural que nos ayude a establecer un plan de acción y empezar con su puesta a punto. Asimismo, también se deben realizar tareas de mantenimiento y mejoramiento de la infraestructura de la finca, estamos abiertos a la creatividad de los voluntarios que quieran aportar ideas nuevas e innovadoras.

  Accommodation

  We offer as accomodation a space in a very simple construction in a traditional bamboo cabin, private room with exterior bathroom (for the moment cold water). The room has two semi-double beds for two people (up to 4 people if they are friends and want to share the same space). Couples are also welcome. They would also have a kitchen. We offer breakfast and for lunch we provide basic products such as rice, beans and oil, as well as garden products if there is a harvest, food preparation and kitchen cleaning is included within the volunteer hours, we would establish the work schedule upon your arrival. 25 hours a week 5 hours a day and better in the mornings to have the afternoons free. Minimum stay: 15 days, to better understand the rythms of the land and get used to them.
  3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner
  
  Ofrecemos para alojarte un espacio en una construccion muy sencilla en guadua y esterilla, habitación privada con baño exterior (por el momento agua fria) . La habitación cuenta con dos camas semidobles para dos personas (hasta 4 personas si son amigos y quieren compartir el mismo espacio) Las parejas son también bienvenidas. También contarían con cocina. Ofrecemos desayuno y para el almuerzo aportamos los productos básicos como arroz, frijoles y aceite tambien productos de la huerta si hay cosecha, la preparacion de alimentos y el aseo de cocina está incluido dentro de las horas de voluntariado,estableceríamos el horario de trabajo a tu llegada. 25 horas a la semana 5 horas por día y mejor en las mañanas para tener las tardes libres. Estancia mínima: 15 días, para acostumbrarse y entender los ritmos de la finca.

  Filandia Quindio son las tierras del café, estamos rodeados de una naturaleza espectacular, guaduales que salpican el paisaje, con pueblitos pintorescos del Eje Cafetero colombiano y destinos imperdibles como,salento y el Valle del Cocora con las palmeras más altas del mundo. Es un lugar perfecto para estar en contacto con la naturaleza y desconectar del bullicio de las grandes ciudades. Paz, clima agradable y enclave inmejorable.

  Filandia Quindio is the land of coffee, we are surrounded by spectacular nature, guaduales (bamboo trees) that are spread throughout the landscape, with picturesque towns in the Colombian Coffee Region and unmissable destinations such as Salento and the Cocora Valley with the tallest palm trees in the world.
