These two girls were great. I was a bit worried that they might shy away from the forest work, however they were enthusiastic and great company while hauling away the deadwood. Quite enjoyable to see them take great delight in their achievements! I take my hat off to their efforts! They are welcome anytime, working or not. Thoroughly enjoyed their

The setting of this workaway is absolutely stunning. The little town of Lillooet is gorgeous, but the house is by far more beautiful.
John and Laura were fantastic hosts. They really welcomed us into their lives, and into their home. They treated us like old friends, and we would be happy to stay with them again. The pets they have are very

We were given a full tour of the property, and told the task of things they hoped to achieved. Laura and John allowed us to choose tasks that we felt best matched our own skills, but they were fantastic at encouraging us to try new things and develop new skills. The work was not difficult, and Laura ensured we stayed hydrated and didn't overwork! We were given plenty of time off, and had time to ourselves everyday.
This truly was a fantastic workaway! You get what you give with these hosts, and the work is extremely rewarding. This workaway is perfect for trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but continue to be active.
We would definitely come back to help, and we would love to see the place in the height of winter. We highly recommend these hosts. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Well, Paul was a wonderful workawayer to have around our property. He worked hard and was very open to experiencing all that our lovely little community has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed him! and welcome him back whenever he may have the chance. I thank him for playing frisbee golf, as this gave me a break! ha. As this was the first summer

This place is just beautiful. So peaceful and quiet. Such a shame that there was a lot of smoke because of the forest fires nearby, but still, the view was amazing. I cannot imagine how this place must look like on a clear day, or during the night, a sky full of stars! Not only is the place beautiful, also Laura and John are a wonderful couple.

The work is not hard, and it is nice to be out in the forest, in the shadow during a hot summer. After work there is time for a hot tub, a hike, a peek in town or just a read with view on the valley, or.... frisbee golf! I will never forget this awesome game: beer in one hand, frisbee in the other, walking around the property, that's life! Thanks for teaching me, John! Thanks for the lovely dinners outside, thanks for the great conversations, thanks for everything! PaulYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
