Our place is a lodge in beautiful Playa Carate, with stunning views of the beach, lagoon and primary rainforest. We are just a few kilometers from the world renowned Corcovado National Park, and have an abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenery all around. Our location is second to none, and the area is incredibly peaceful and therapeutic.

Helping with Tourists
There are a lot of opportunities for our workawayer to get involved in nature and learn about the incredible and unique ecosystem of the Osa Peninsula! The majority of our staff are Spanish speakers so an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish skills! Our manager also runs a community based sea turtle conservation project, therefore opportunities to get involved in the development of this also!
We are looking for someone to enhance our customer service here at the lodge, therefore fluency in English and experience in hospitality is essential. Main tasks will involve meeting and greeting guests, helping to organize trips and tours, and generally liaising with guests and helping to make their experience memorable. Extra help may include guiding wildlife/nature tours and hikes, establishment and maintenance of our organic garden (we want to make this a bigger feature at the lodge and push to produce more food on site for our staff and guests), and helping to involve the guests with our associated sea turtle project.
There is also the opportunity for our workawayer to apply any personal skills they have to our experiences! Playing music, giving yoga classes/massage/meditation, teaching English to our staff, cooking speciality dishes etc. etc,
Accomodation for our helper would be a private room with bathroom and fan. There is good WiFi at the lodge and 3 meals a day will be included. Stunning views and excellent vibes!!
Free time will include anything nature! We are close to excellent surfing beaches, waterfalls, amazing trails, the Golfo Dulce (dolphin and whale feeding spot), mangroves, a sea turtle nesting beach and of course the incredible Corcovado National Park! There is a bus twice daily into the nearest town of Puerto Jimenez where you can find all the necessary amenities, large supermarket
