I live in a small village (altitude 1000m, population 900) in the Ala-Too moutain range, Chuy valley.
I am 39 years old, I love traveling and I have used Workaway both as a host and workawayer since 2018.Types of help and learning opportunities

This is a multi-ethnic village, there is a mosque and a house of prayer (from the Mennonites). Some villagers live in almost total food self-sufficiency.
Help
Spring 2025, starting from end of march or beginning of April: SHEPHERDING HORSES.
The moment there is enough grass out there, I'll need someone to shepherd 5geldings (open range pastures). It is a boring job to stay and watch them all day but there is 4G... and I can lend you some books... Good knowledge of horses is necessary!!
If you are interested, I will be teaching two 3 year old fillies ground work and accepting the saddle and rider (no actual riding yet, they are still to young) and two 2 year old colts - ground work (halter, feet picking,..).
Summer 2025: HOUSE SITTING.
This summer, for periods of 16 days, 4 times, I will be absent from my home because I guide mountain trail rides. I need you to take care of my animals and garden during my absence.
Feed the 6 cats, make sure they have water.
Feed the dog once per day and go for walks with him. Its going to be his first time not following me on the trails: his arthritis wont allow it anymore... so he will need to go walking to avoid depression!
There will be the donkey (the sweetest lil' creature), my old mare (21yo) and 4 young horses. Sometimes there will also be 2-3 geldings. They will need to be fed with hay 3times per day and make sure they have water all the time. If you are a rider, you can ride the geldings.
Water the garden (organic, my humble attemp to permaculture), eat what is ripe, maybe plant something if you feel like it!
These are the dates for which I will need your help. The 2 first days I will still be at home so I can show you around. Please be sure that you can stay for the whole period as I will not be there to find you a replacement if you suddenly decide to leave before the agreed end of your stay date.
16 June - 5 July = 18 days
5 July - 24 July = 20days
24July - 12 August = 20 days
12 August - 31 August = 20 days
I will arrange to have someone come to replace you so you can have several days off (4) during your stay. We will discuss how/when you wish to have your days off when you come.
My brother and his family and the neighbours on the other side of the street can help you in case you encounter some problems with the animals while I am not there.
