My name is David a teacher by profession I am very passionate in helping children who have no access to education gets quality education. We have established a nursery school based in Matai town that enroll children between 2 to 5 years old as a means of increasing access to education. The people of Kalambo district where the school is found has been denied with quality education either because of their socioeconomic and cultural background factors or due to discrepancies in distribution of education across the country that make some children feel like unprivileged. The people in the area feel like to be very far from everywhere and everything in this world. It is from this background we decided to establish a nursery school at Matai town in order to increase education accessibility to children of which many of them are from poor peasants. I believe that provision of quality education in the area will enable children to determine their own life in future but also improve social equity, giving rural and urban, poor and rich children alike similar chance of succeeding to primary and secondary education. We usually finance the organization through the contributions from parents who are charged minimal fee to cater for the cost of running a school. So workawayers are highly needed to join our cause of letting children get education.
