    Description

We are dedicated to build a regenerative communal way of living, where visionaries, artists, and change makers can come together to infuse their talents, hopes and dreams for the creation of a better world.

We want to create new ways of being and living, enabling us to step into the radical responsibility we have to care for the land we're inhabiting. Together we are committed to create a thriving ecosystem, where collective transformation can blossom and be of service to the healing of each other and of our planet.

2 years ago my partner and I took a major step towards materializing this dream and are now guardians of a beautiful 3.5 hectares old farmhouse in rural Galicia, located in an abundant and natural environment just a few kms away from the Camino de Santiago.

The farm is off grid, encouraging us to be more conscious about the vital resources we consume, such solar energy, water and producing our own food (partially). The living space includes a 16th Century traditional farmhouse where the heart and soul of the community takes place (with a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room, an extensive library and various large bedrooms). There are also 4 cabins in the woods for people staying more long term, a small chapel that can be used for yoga, meditation and playing music, a geometric dome and plenty of lush green space to walk around and discover the peaceful surroundings.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

My partner and I are co-creating an emerging creative and regenerative project in the heart of Galicia and are offering you the opportunity to be part of it. At these early stages there is so much to learn and be involved with, which makes this cultural exchange truly hands-on and nourishing.

All your questions around crafting a purposeful vision, taking the first steps towards materialising your dreams, permaculture design, living sustainably, etc, will be answered as you embark on this exciting journey with us ;) We want to inspire people from all over the world to follow their hearts' calling in service of nature, hence we are committed to show you that it is possible for you too!

As we continue developing our project to make it more self-sustainable, regenerate more soil, plant more trees, make ecological structures in harmony with nature and many other exciting projects, we welcome expert hands with funky vibes to be part of it. If any of this resonates, we are impatiently awaiting for your message and will do our best to respond to you ASAP ✨

We welcome you who hears the call to contribute to an emerging community project, who has experience collaborating in a permaculture environment, is excited about community living, and loves getting involved ;) We especially value workawayers, who are excited to put their skills at the service of people and the planet, and have special interests in exploring agroforestry and building with nature.

Those of you passionate about working with natural material, we'd love a hand to experiment with it and apply basic carpentry, so that we can make our communal outdoor facilities (composter, dry toilets, solar shower) more robust and sustainable for the community.

Anyone with interest in garden and food forest will also be delighted to be part of this project! Though we are still learning about different agro ecological practices, our extensive vegetable garden gives us plenty of scope to play with. We welcome any help in the garden and fruit picking, so that we can continue to grow and eat the delicious food that the land provides us.

We also need help with chopping wood, land clearing, and light general maintenance on the land and communal living spaces. Living off-grid there’s always lots of sporadic activities popping up unexpectedly, keeping the tasks here diverse and exciting.

Workawayers will only be asked to help with private and light home/garden/general maintenance of the space and not in any spaces that might be used by paying guests.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In exchange for your precious time and valuable energy we can offer you different accommodation options depending on availability, preferences and length of stay. This ranges from one of our wooden cabins, to a bed in the main house, camping, or parking your own van. You can get in touch with us to discuss what would be most aligned with your needs and aspiration, and we'll do our best to make it happen ;)

Food wise we expect collaboration from our volunteers, as we each take turn to prepare a nourishing vegetarian meal for the community, with our home-grown veggies. If cooking is not your thing giving a hand with dish washing is always welcome.

We aspire to share at least one meal a day in community, then allow the rest of meals to be more flexible and adapt to the current reality on the farm.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

It's important for you to know that this experience is not for the faint hearted. We want to show you the reality of bringing an intentional living space to life, which comes with its ups and downs. But we promise to make it fun, collaborative and exciting for you.

The time you're not working you're welcome to discover the stunning Caurel Natural Park, nearby swimming spots, waterfalls, treks, or simply read your book in a cosy hammack.
