    Description

We are a family run non for profit organisation in need of some enthusiastic individuals to help us complete some great farming projects and help maintain the farm/park.

We respect the importance of learning through our ancestors and the affect a strong positive heritage can have on our present culture. Knowing this we have developed a working camp and farm that has been themed around Jamaica’s Taino Heritage.

Our collaborations with several local micro enterprises (some of which were formed by graduating students of our twin program) will provide the village with an authentic community atmosphere.
All our programs have been created with the Taino philosophy of working with nature so our in-house students, visiting students, groups and collaborators will gain a knowledge of sustainable living and harmonious community lifestyle.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Being in a natural environment teaches our volunteers a sense of appreciation of the comfort developed countries take for granted. We hope they learn to be more respectful and moderate with mother nature.

    Help

A keen 'hands on' small group to help us, help the community, with the rolling out of our organic farming and other projects. We would prefer a responsible group who is able to work with children in large groups, teaching them about indigenous culture, sustainable living and permaculture.
