  Description

  Creative Child Care (Montessori, Waldorf, Indiviudal Apporach, ...) and/ or developing house & garden (construction, gardening, maintenance, etc. ) in nice traditional house in les Landes, France!
  
  
  We are a German family of five, Christian (42) & Jenny (36) with our kids Lotta & Jonte (nearly 3 years) and Bruno 8 months). We have just moved into our house in France, Landes, Pontenx-les-Fogres around February 2022. We mainly live in Berlin, so it will be our secondary residence at first. We are looking for someone, or a couple (with or without kids) or two good friends, who would like to take care of our children a few ours a day, at least of Lotta and Jonte. Bruno might be a bit too young still. They are twins and really cool, fun and very euphoric and easy to get along with.
  
  Alternatively you can help us with little construction works, gardening, maintenance of house and garden or with any other project that we and you consider a new impulse for the house (art projects etc.). This is open to your proactive ideas but might involve: Painting walls inside, digging trenches in the garden, building walls inside, sealing the outside walls against humidity, cutting hedges, shaping the garden,..
  
  The times in which you help us would be planned together so it is good for everybody. We are thinking about 20-25 hours a week to The forest starts right next to the house. Lake Aurehlian is very close, the Atlantic ocean is also not far away, about 20 min by car. You can also take the bike, there is a bike lane going right to the ocean (this would take you between 45-60 minutes). There is a bus to the beach 3 times a day. Of course we offer rides to the beach and back whenever we go there.
  
  So if you love these surroundings and especially the ocean, this is the perfect chance for you. Child care might also involve going to the beach with us and taking care of the kids on the beach while Christian is surfing :) You will also get a go of course and Christian could also teach you unless you are not an expert already.

  Help

  As we are just moving in, there will be lots of help needed in the area around the house (about2500sq). So if you are an all around talent for sustainability-based construction, permaculture etc. would be perfect and this could also be part of your working hours. This is not necessary, though.
  
  Meals can be shared with us and also cooked by you if you like. You could also be a little family if you dont mind living in a caravan together. It can sleep 4-5 people.
  
  Please Note: It would be best for everyboday if you could stay between 1 to 3 months with a trial period of 1 weeks in advance so both sides can check if we get along with each other. Also, you need to be fully vaccinated.

  - Caravan in the back of the garden area. It is a 20 year old but totally dry, in great condition and cosy. Sleeps 3-4 adults or a family of five.
  
  The kids use the garage as their art studio :). You can also use the garage to create if you like.
