Hello workawayers,
we, the rishikesh foundation, are a self stustained yoga centre based in the mountains near rishikesh. setteld down in this beautiful place we are running different kind of projects like teaching yoga, eco-farming, animal care/farmstay and hikking in the stunning himalayan mountain area. at the moment our yoga centre is still under construction, so we need help from creative workawayers to finish it. you are welcome to bring your own ideas and being part of creating this beautiful place surrounded by almost untouched nature in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are based near an Indian mountain village so you are able to dive deep into Indian culture, its taditions and the day to day life from the village people. You will have the opportunity to live and work with locals and experience eco-building/farming at first hand. You will be part of our team and have the chance to improve your skills.
Help
In the upcoming months we focus on finishing our project in the mountains. We already finished the bamboocottages, the yoga hall and some vegetable and flower gardens.
So we need:
- creative people/artists who are able to help us to with decoration, painting and final touches of the whole property
- help designing a swimming pond
- creative minds who can help us with planning, coordinating and supervising the work and bring new ideas and different viewpoints to the project
- people who have experience in digital marketing, photography/filming, video editing or online story telling to help us in promotion and content creation
- help building all kind of stuff like chicken houses and so on

You will stay in your own/shared bamboo cottage (depending on how many people are helping at the moment) with an amazing view over the river ganga up the himalayan mountains

Our campsite is located 25 km from Rishikesh on a beautiful remote mountain top village. There is no wifi there but 4G works perfectly (Vodafone is the best).
We also run a yoga school called shanti yog peeth located in middtown rishikesh, just 10 minutes walk from the famous Laxman Jhula bridge. At the moment we need workawayers in our campsite.
