It was a pleasure to have Leif with us for almost a month. He has great craft skills and has worked on several garden projects such as our pergola and built a wooden chest. We had interesting conversations about things of the world and Canada's wilderness :) that we definitely want to visit. We had a really good time.

It's a lovely and warm family—I had such a nice time staying with them. They welcomed me like a part of the family. I played board games with the children and learned lots of new games during my stay!
The location was perfect for me—right by the mountains, so I went hiking a lot! At the same time, it was super easy to get into the city center. I

I helped out with some gardening and cleaning tasks—nothing too difficult, and they always explained everything clearly before we started.
This is a place where you can truly relax while also having the chance to discover the city. The family is absolutely adorable and kind, and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to stay here! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Thank you, Sandra and Felix, for your generosity and kindness. I had such a great time and you really made me feel like one of the family. Thanks also to the girls for helping me to learn some German.
This was my first Workaway experience and I could not have wished for a nicer one for my introduction.
Felix and Sandra were perfect in terms of

A really lovely family and I would not hesitate to go back or to recommend them to other workawayers.Left by host for Workawayer (David )
David was housesitting at our place for a week while we were on holiday. He arrived a few days in advance so that we could show and explain everything to him. The time with David was really great. I had a wonderful stay at Sandra and Felix place. Everything was exactly as described in the profil and I spend 3 amazing weeks with the family. I really enjoyed the gardening work (which was not too hard and well explained beforehand, mostly containted out of weeding and putting up small fences around the trees in the garden), looked after the
… read more chicken and I helped preparing wood pieces for a future outside seating area. Furthermore I really enjoyed spending time with the kids, sharing meals with the family and having fruitfull conversations along the way. Working hours were not too long so that I had more than enought time to visit the city centre as well, which is very easily reached by tram. All in all it was a great stay, that I would totally recommand - hope to see you again sometime:)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

It was great to have Kim with us for 3 weeks in the summer. She was a great help with our garden projects and also in the household. She doesn't shy away from new tasks either, but is curious and interested in learning. She also got on well with our children, playing board games or accompanying them to the swimming pool. We look forward to Kim

It was a pleasure for us to have Cecile and her two children house sit for us, while we were on holiday. We met once before to show and explain everything to her. Cecile made a list and wrote everything down in detail so that she wouldn't forget anything.
While we were on holiday, we received daily photos and updates of our chickens and the
… read more situation at home.
She also cleaned in the house and left everything very tidy. We had a very good feeling that our house and our chickens were in safe hands.
We look forward to having Cecile and her children house sit for us again.

My children and I stayed for 9 days at Felix and Sandra's place in Vienna. We took care of their hens and property while they were away on holidays.
Everything went smoothly. The communication was flawless: We knew exactly what was expected of us and could meet their expectations.
Their house is located in a nice neighbourhood (less than half an
… read more hour from Stephansplatz). The family is well integrated in their community. The neighbours are friendly and helpful.
Felix and Sandra invited us to lunch and showed us around. They also recommended places I could visit with the children. And we stayed in touch throughout our stay.
They are great people and hosts. We are grateful for this volunteering opportunity.
Thank you very much. We would come back any time. You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
