    Description

Dear travel fellows, we are a family of four living in the Austrian Alps close to Italian boarder who love to meet new people, travel, learn from new cultures. Our house is located in a small residential area at the end of the valley at 1400 m about sea level. Just behind our house, the endless alpine nature spread with pastures, brooks, larch forests and mountains up to 2900 m. We are perfectly located for summer hikes, climbing trips, such as for skiing, sledging, back-country, alpine skiing, ice-skating and other winter sports. If you love snow, be sure to have it at least from December to April. With my 9 year old home-schooled daughter we travel a lot and participate in many international projects. We are happy to welcome nice people to join us for 1-2 weeks to teach my daughter English or Italian.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We love outdoor sports, we go every day outside, which are the mountains in our case. You can join us for sledging or skiing in winter, or just for long walks. We speak Czech, English, German and Italian. We will show you the area around us. This place is really fantastic for wild-nature lovers. If you prefer to enjoy big cities and cultural events, you can travel to Innsbruck, but there is no bus connection at late hours.

I am looking for an English or Italian native speakers to join our family for 1-2 weeks to teach my daughter one of those two languages. She learns always in the morning, so after 12:00 you would be free. If you prefer to go skiing or hiking in the morning and then work with her in late afternoon, it´s ok, we are totally flexible. I will organize for the food and would be happy if we change to cook, so that I can work too. I work remotely 3 hours a day.

We provide our guests with a space with a double bed at our attic, very cosy and comfortable. In some cases also our one-bedroom apartment is free, but we can not guarantee this, as we offer it for home-exchange too. Regarding meals, we go shopping every second day, we are not vegetarians and do not have any special diet, but cook healthy and bake own bread and pastry. We are open to new recipes and are happy to discuss your needs and wishes to learn new dishes :)
