Hello!. The Garden is a community habitat that is in Barra de Valizas ... Rocha ... Uruguay.
A small and beautiful village of fishermen and hippies of the Uruguayan Atlantic coast. We live in this town since 1992 but as concept and family enterprise was born in 2009. We are: Mama Daniela (here I introduce myself), Alegria, Marina, Lilah And Maya (my daughters), Patrick (companion) and his son Gurvan. In team we support a natural marine coastal area, inhabiting it with the least environmental impact and sharing it with tourists and explorers. In beach season we rent 4 small cabins with capacity for two and three people that are built with several techniques of bio architecture and bio-construction. Natural wood and fibers are mostly the materials used.
2casitas Geodesicas and casita in the tree that are integrated to the large garden that surrounds the main house where also there are several places for camping There is also a communal kitchen of wood and green roof with reciproca structure that is the center of the spirit of the garden and also a peqieña Octagonal cottage with showers and dry toilets.
All the organic wastes produced in the place are composted and then reused in the orchard and nursery as well as in the trees. We extract the exquisite drinking water from the subsoil and maintain a healthy cycle using wetlands built for the disposal and filtering of the waste water and return them in a good way to the environment.
Between July and November we take care of the structural support of the place and the landscape. We give workshops on bioconstruction and organize constructive with the whole community.
This is the time of the year we receive volunteers !!!
It is a very rich moment of the year where the exchange of knowledge generates life and art.for those who arrive and for whom we are.
Hola!. El Jardin es un habitat comunitario que esta en Barra de Valizas...Rocha ...Uruguay.
Un pequeño y hermoso pueblo de pescadores y hippies de la costa atlantica uruguaya.Vivimos en este pueblo desde 1992 pero El Jardin como concepto y emprendimiento familiar nació en 2009. Somos: Mamá Daniela (que aqui me presento),Alegria, Marina, Lilah y Maya ( mis hijas), en equipo sostenemos un espacio natural costero marino, habitandolo con el menor impacto ambiental y compartiendolo con turistas y exploradores. En temporada de playa alquilamos 4 pequeñas cabañas con capacidad para dos y tres personas que estan construidas con tecnicas varias de bio arquitectura y bioconstruccion. Madera y fibras naturales en su mayoria son los materiales utilizados .
2casitas Geodesicas y casita en el arbol que estan integradas al amplio jardin que circunda la casa principal donde tambirn hay varios sitios para camping Hay tambien una cocina comunitaria de madera y techo verde con estructura reciproca que es el centro del espiritu del jardin y tambien una peqieña casita octogonal con duchas y baños secos .
Todo los desechos organicos producidos en el lugar son compostados y luego reutilizados en la huerta y el vivero como tambien en los arboles . Extraemos el agua potable exquisita del subsuelo y mantenemos un ciclo sano utilizando humedales construidos para el desecho y filtrado de las aguas usadas y devolverlas de buena manera al ambiente.
Entre Julio y noviembre nos ocupamos del sosten estructural del lugar y del paisaje. Damos talleres de bioconstruccion y organizamos constructivas con la comunidad toda.

Es un momento muy rico del año donde el intercambio de saberes genera vida y arte.para los que llegan y para los que estamos. -

The aid essentially consists of 4 hours a day dedication to the tasks of development and growth of the place. There are varied tasks such as carpentry work of small and medium complexity, gardening, horticulture and forestry
Painting of protection and artistic, environment and decoration of spaces.
La ayuda esencialmente consiste en 4 hs diarias de dedicacion a las tareas de desarrollo y crecimiento del lugar. Hay tareas variadas tales como trabajos de carpinteria de poca y mediana complejidad, jardineria ,horticultura y silvicultura
