My name is Matthew, I am from the U.K but have been travelling and working in Latin America for about 20 years. With a local family and local farmers we are creating an Impact Centre.
This center is at the heart of a regenerative complex on 56 acres of beautiful land, near to Semuc Champey, Lanquin, Guatemala. The center is an experimental permaculture and Bioconstruction space, based around agrotourism and the production of cacao, turmeric, copal incense and other products.
We are forming a farmers co-op, whereby products can be sold and developed from the center. We would like help with various small projects in lanquin on site. There will be valuable opportunities to share with the local Q'eqchi commmunity aswell as with international visitors.

There will also be help with projects in making signs and gardening. The Workawayer coordinator will be able to organize interesting jobs and tasks on a regular bases. You will be submerged in the local Maya culture and mix with visitors from outside.
