Description
** Currently looking for someone that can be independent to arrive between the 19th and 23rd Aug for 2 or so weeks. **
My name's Lee and I live in the Dublin mountains with my girlfriend Elis and our friend Markus. We are all in our 20s and early 30s. The location is great because it's close to the city but also feels like the countryside! So we have the best of both worlds. Not living here long so there's a lot to do, especially since I have some land. I have a vision of going off grid but that's a long way away! We are growing some vegetables but next year will be much better. The current tasks that need to be completed mostly include gardening and by that I mean weeding, chopping down thick thorn bushes and restoring some order to the landscape so that it can be transformed into something unique! There may be some DIY projects also inside and outside. You will likely be working alone most days as the rest of us work our jobs but I certainly get stuck in where I can.
I have travelled extensively and am lucky enough to have visited over 60 countries! I had many great experiences and love meeting new people.
We are not a party house - So this would not suit somebody that loves drinking and going out late! It is a chill environment here and it's important that you like nature and the outdoors!Types of help and learning opportunities

I'm Irish, Elis is Turkish and Markus is German, so there's lots of cultural going on! We're all friendly and enjoy other peoples company. I'm a creative person and make a living via photography and videography. Elis is an incredible digital and traditional artist & Markus is in the engineering field so we all have different things to share! We like hiking and camping (when weather suits), watching movies and series and sometimes playing board games etc.
Can teach you how to make Kombucha!Help
At the moment it will be mostly gardening, landscaping & reshaping the land by means of digging, cutting, mowing - that sort of thing. Knowledge of using a strimmer, hedge cutters, lawn mowers etc. etc. is definitely a good thing, Carpentry skills also a bonus as there may or may not be be DIY projects happening during your stay.

Accommodation
You'll have a double bedroom to yourself with a desk. There is one bathroom that is shared. You will have access to the kitchen and the living room. We only eat vegan/ vegetarian in this house so you must be ok with that.
We are not a party house - I've retired from that lifestyle so this would not suit somebody that loves drinking and going out late! It is a chill environment here and it's important that you like nature and the outdoors! What else ...
If you like hiking it's amazing around here, the Dublin and Wicklow mountains are on the door step! There's a lovely pub down the road which is walkable that serves food and has entertainment quite often. There's an adventure place up the road with ziplines etc. and horse riding around the corner.
Without a car it can be difficult to go into the city but it's possible to walk for around 30 minutes to then take a bus for around 30 mins. You might be able to hitch a ride from Lee or Markus where possible. Of course at the house there is also Netflix etc.A little more information
