We are full until end of March. We may need people for April and may for general construction work or people willing to build a mobile sauna.
Our home is a place to calm down and find your inner strength in the most amazing natural beauty of the Carnota Bay area in Galicia, Spain.
We have created a community living project, bringing together a diverse group of lovely individuals in a harmonious blend of living and working. At its core, this initiative envisions a close-knit community that thrives on shared values of sustainability, creativity, and mutual support. The breathtaking natural beauty of Carnota Bay serves as an inspiring backdrop, encouraging residents to embrace a lifestyle that is both environmentally conscious and socially enriching both within the community and the local population.
In essence, the vision for this community living project extends beyond its immediate residents, reaching out to embrace the entire Carnota community. By fostering knowledge exchange, intercultural understanding, and supporting local businesses and entrepreneurship, the project aspires to be a catalyst for positive change, breathing new life into the region and creating a model for sustainable, collaborative living that can be replicated in other communities.
We are especially looking for people helping us with construction tasks around the renovation of 1st and 2nd floor and also shaping of the garden including building walls in the Galician style with stones in order to be blending in with nature. We are shaping around 2000m2 of beautiful garden that needs a lot of attention.
Your accomodation will be freshly renovated and very comfortable with sea views and private (en-suite) bathrooms.

Nestled in the embrace of Carnota Bay, the community living project not only envisions a self-sustaining haven but also strives to weave strong ties with the local community. Recognizing the importance of preserving and enhancing the cultural richness of the region, the project is committed to fostering intercultural exchange and collaboration. Through partnerships with local artisans, cultural events, and educational programs, residents are encouraged to actively engage with the vibrant traditions and history of Carnota.
There will be a skilled civil engineer sho is fluent in Spanish, English and German who you may learn all essential skills around such a project.

Help
We appreciate any kind of help around the estate and its various little plots of land. We especially look for:
- HANDYMAN - volunteers with ability to use tools in order to keep building - especially wood work is needed
I can pay the 12 euros per hour minimum wage of Spain for 30h. More optional

Accommodation
The house can host up to 15 people comfortably so you will have your own private room with SEA VIEWS!
You will have everything you need to feel like home - if available you can also have your en suite bathroom in our newly renovated part of the building! Simply luxury!
Healthy Breakfast with fresh food, yoghurt and cereals or anything you will decide on as our local Hernan from Peru will be responsible to provide the food options.
Warm Lunch and Dinner will be prepared every day with fresh ingredients such as fish, meat and vegetarian options from the rich region that has a lot to offer.
If you are passionate about food you can also take charge of it and we will of course provide anything you need to do shopping and prepare the meals. We normally take turn between us 3.
What else ...
We are a BURNING MAN inspired project and yu will be learning from skilled entrepreneurs, who have already put their dreams into action building this retreat location on the coast of spain.
You can go walking, hiking, surfing, biking - we have all the equipment and you will have the spare time.
Extra work will be paid, if you have the right dedication.
