 - Description- Hillside Fruit Farm, Centro Portugal. 
 This is a small 'Quinta' with 1 acre surrounded by mountains and forests. it is a fruitarian paradise as we have many fruit trees producing fruit all year round. Kiwi, persimmon, quince, oranges and manderin season is here so feel free to enjoy these fruits.We use permaculture principles and we prefer to up cycle and use what nature has provided for our building projects. We welcome short-term volunteers in November for general maintenance and volunteers who like carpentry and plumbing. You can get a chance to work on projects like these :

 The farm is currently in its embryonic stage as a music and art retreat center. It will evolve to operate as a farm school, organic farm, and an active site for group work, learning, and farm-based stays. please feel free to bring your instruments so we can play music in the long winter nights.

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- We provide a welcoming space where volunteers can learn, create, and connect with the local culture and other international folk. The farm is 2 kilometers from the beautiful traditional village of Oleiros. This opportunity is ideal for those passionate about country life in a peaceful rural setting. 
 - Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage- This host offers accommodation and payment. 
 - Help- General land management like tree pruning and fruit harvesting and storage. Irrigation and well management. A car is not necessary but advantageous for this stay due to the remote location and limited public transportation. The local village is 2 km away. If you so bring your camper make sure that you have something to level it.
