We live in an non tourist area with no foreigners, only Thai people :)
So, you will see the real life, and we prefer to go out to places where are most time only Thais.
You can improve your Thai, German and English language.
You will gain a lot experience in dog behaviors, working and training with them.Help
No matter, which part of work you could do here, it is an absolute must that you feel comfortable
in a huge pack of dogs! At ours, you will have nearly 24/7 dogs around you :) 2 dogs sleep with my volunteers, too. But no worry, at night time it is quiet so you can sleep in peace ;)
It depends on your experience with dogs for which kind of work I could appoint you.
Minimum stay here is 14 days (not including day of arrival and departure) because it takes some time to integrate new people here in the pack and until they are used to handle the different packs here on the ground. So, I have to spend the first days a lot of time for new people coming in. I am all the time very happy when the volunteers want to stay for a longer period. How long do you want to stay?
In general, the help needed isn't hard but sometimes we have to carry bags or boxes up to 25 kg/each.
Also, preparing the dog food, you have to cut and mix RAW MEAT with your hands (we have gloves) in a bucket and you should be able to do that.
Sometimes we have injured dogs here and you should be able to assist me with that (wound cleaning, wound dressing). Means, you must be able to see blood or open wounds.
The main tasks here...
- laundry
- cleaning work around house and dog hotel
- preparing the dog food (B.A.R.F.) and feeding the dogs
- grooming, bathing, feeding the dog
- light gardening and maintenance work
- medical care (wound dressing, tablets etc.)
- physiotherapy
- run errands
- drives to the vet clinics, airport etc. (International driver license needed)
- helping with dog trainingLanguages

My private house and the Dog Resort are under one roof in Thalang area and we have a lot of shops and restaurants around.
You will have your own room with a big sofa bed (the picture shows the living room), to sleep in at night but you have to share it at night sometimes with some dogs. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, and garden space will be shared with me.
As we have the 2nd computer in our guest room, it could happen that we have to use the computer at some days for 1 or 2 hours.
Layan Beach / Bang Tao Beach / Surin Beach / Naiyang Beach is a 10 - 20 min. ride.
Shops/super markets/fresh markets and restaurants are in walking distance.
The accommodation and breakfast (coffee, toast, butter, marmalade, cornflakes, eggs), water and also seasonal fruits from our garden are included.
Working time is 5 hours/5 days but it will depend on when the work has to be done. So, for example, when we have to prepare the dog food packages it will be a really long day until everything is packed and cleaned. But on other days we will have less work, so it will be less than 5 hours or a day off in addition.
We have unlimited WiFi... BUT... NO INTERNET WHILE WORKING !!! When we have a break or it is your free time you can be online as long as you want. But I am sick of people, checking the whole time their social media and forget about that the things they had to do or need the double-time for the work because of only one hand and half brain free to work ;)A little more information

We had a more than pleasant experience during the nearly three weeks at Diana's place. There was always something to do and the work wasn't too challenging yet varying and consisted of tasks in garden maintenance or with the dogs itself. The staff was also super friendly and always helpful.
